...so come 6pm tonight - we'll all have one eye on the live stream and the other eye on this thread!!! 
In all honesty I don't think I would've used the charging feature much. I'd much rather take the battery boost (supposedly introduced to support this now missing feature).

t-30 days: nah.. I don't need to upgrade my phone, my existing one is fine

t-23 days: "sorry guys I don't think I'll upgrade"
t-20 days: "hmm you're right, that new camera does sounds great.. my instagram photos I take in low light of my Nandos dinner really to need to be clearer"
t-10 days: "can't wait for the keynote.. I'm soo gonna get one"
t-1 day: "WTF... they've pulled bilateral charging, Apple are doomed, Cook is a moron, This wouldn't have happened if Jobs was still around"

Not currently. I found one on Twitter but they shut it down promptly. I suspect it was an old one that they forgot to expire. I reckon a few of us here were able to quote with it and it got them worried.
ok thanks, no worries. I've locked a price for my X 256GB as I suspect it'll decline in the next few days, but anything extra would be welcome.
Let's see what Apple has for us today, need to admit that it is disappointing that there seems to be no wow factor in the new lineup, we expect more that xx% faster than previous iphone and a better camera.
I think if you look at this year as being the real 'S' year, it's easier to swallow the supposed lack of major changes. Apple realised they had to release the X early in 2017 as the 8 and 8 Plus weren't going to cut it. If they hadn't done that then the first appearance of the current form factor would have been in 2018. This is therefore the originally planned 'S' year and next year will be a form factor change.
For me, a lack of reverse charging is not a big deal - I'm actually more interested in an updated Taptic Engine because it's something that manifests itself every time I use the phone. Apple doesn't get enough credit for how good an innovation it was/is.

I've said to myself all year that I wouldn't be upgrading again this year. Today arrives and I've locked in a price for my XS Max haha
Gonna do the jump from the XS to whatever Max comes... I usually like to do the jump between Max and normal

I’m not sure that there is a “save” function as such. Just complete checkout and you have 2 weeks (plus a possible extension) to get your phone to them. If you change your mind, just keep your phone.
I don't need to upgrade this year, but the upgraded camera system would be the main draw. An extra lens and f/ stop upgrades to the existing lenses would be mighty handy, especially for low light shooting or faster shooting when chasing after my kid. Really tempted to go back to the smaller size, too.
It's a big IF, but if the upgrades from tonight's keynote are worthwhile, I'll sell my XS Max sharpish and move on to an XR temporarily to take advantage of Apple's 14 day return window, before moving on to the smaller sized triple lens phone, assuming that the specs aside from size are identical.
Music Magpie seems to have remembered the ADD10 code from previously testing it, so have now locked in £748 against my mint, unlocked XS Max. I have £590 outstanding on my iPhone Payments account with Barclays, and should get £90-£100 credited back from unused AppleCare.

Prices starting to drop on MM. £690 for 256 XS Max first thing yesterday £687.30 first thing today and now down to £657...

Your gif made me think about the frightening amount of money I’ve spent and continue to spend on iPhones and Apple stuff over the years.
(shudders) that's not worth thinking about... could have a decent car for that amount!

Don't know if it helps but just locked in a price of £686.10p for an unlocked iPhone xs max 256gb with a company called Handtec.
Never used them before but seem to have good reviews
