As I’ll only be trading in an iPhone 6 the difference between what Apple and various other places are offering is so small I might as well just trade it in at the Apple store when I collect my new phone

Unknown at this point. However worth considering upgrading via CPW or similar as the tariff's are usually cheaper than direct (if you haven't already looked at this)

yea that is where it is going to get tricky. There are so many more options for contracts when going via a third party. I have a nice spreadsheet going when I was comparing network to network, as soon as I went to uswitch it made an absolute mess of it.

Thinking of going back to black this year. Not had a black iPhone since the jet black Scratch magnet 6+ ( I think)

Got me thinking of changing up the series 4 watch. Do like the gold Ss but think I want to go back to black there too!

Trade in prices for the watch don’t hold up anything like the phones!

@Jinjin I’m also considering switching back to black this year, but at the same time I’m hoping they offer some other nice colour options for the 11 Pro models.
We’ll see.

If I decide to upgrade this year (which I’m trying to resist) I’ll go for black too, primarily because black is the best colour in my opinion to hide the hideously ugly camera lens arrangement.

nice to see the usual regulars back on the thread nice one JinJin a year does go by quick lol

as others have mentioned unless Apple throws us some extra special features that haven't been leaked then i'll be passing on this years upgrade i'm loving my xs max.

I will be upgrading my apple watch and ipad pro if new ones are announced family members are hinting they want my current ones i'm just hoping apple don't shock us with some surprise upgrades otherwise its going to be an expensive month for me !!

Is the iPhone Upgrade Programme still only available in store in the UK? I'm loathe to brave my local Apple Store on release day.

Yes not seen anything indicating you can do online yet. Honestly last year was simples. Pre order, went at the time reserved, no one in the queue, do the paperwork and left.

Long gone it seems are the people (scalepers) queuing

Saw these renders from the inter webs and these, if the real thing is similar, wouldn’t be so bad.

But then again some artists think this was a good likeness too

I didn’t know Very offered 10% off first orders.

By ordering from here, you could treat it the same as the upgrade programme. Order with discount, pay off X amount monthly, and then clear the balance when you sell the phone and upgrade next year.
Yeah its constantly an on-going thing.
Sometimes they offer 20% but that always excludes electrical products, some have managed to get 20% in the past however.
They'll credit the 10% to your Very account a month later usually, which will reduce the outstanding balance.
Their BNPL option is 12 months or they do take 3 in which you split it across 3 months.

I had done this on a non iphone a few years back, actually ended up with 40% off due to a cock up on their end.
I wish I could guarantee the same cock up will happen here :D

Love that they're going for frosted glass.
Reminds me of my current matte black iPhone 7.

Anyone know what the deal is with transferring the eSIM on EE from an iPhone XS Max to a new phone? Wondering if anyone has been through the process when swapping phones for some reason?

Trying to figure out the timings to sell my XS Max when getting an 11?

forgot to say SIM only pay monthly on EE and unlocked iPhones direct from Apple

I like this design a lot.
I think Apple really need that camera bump to be moulded to the body of the phone with it curving a little instead (iPhone 7 Plus esque) of the module being tacked on like it is on the X and XS.

Looking at the EE website you have to order another eSIM pack and they send it to you in the post..... so ordered one.

It feels so backward that you have to order an e-sim which is delivered through the post. It should be all digital, where you’re emailed the QR code to use immediately.

So as of now CPW are still quoting me £460 for my X 256gb. How much do you guys think will drop by after tomorrow night? If at all...

I can lock the price in now and have them send the ‘envelope’ to me to send it off. Has anyone used CPW before and know how long I have to get it to them? I can’t find anything in their FAQ’s... obviously would like to keep my X to as close the release date of the 11 as possible
