Congrats to everyone who got their iphones today and hope all others that have orders coming up receive theirs soon!

Got my 11 Pro MG today and all I can say is WOW, so familiar to my XS but also very different! Doing a quick comparison the camera and (in particular ) the front facing is miles better.

Even the screen has more of a pop and I thought the XS was already pretty good! This ones brighter and better to look it in both dark / light modes.

The frosted back is a great move and I like the centralised apple logo.

But have to say the MG is an absolute killer as it looks like space grey from some angels, dark green from others and in the light a different version altogether! Almost two tone like!!

Absolutely love it!!!

Hard reboot, try again. If that fails (maybe because the app store is being hammered?) then you can either just wait or, if it were me, I'd go into the app store, search for it under "purchased" and click to download it there. That may work as it should be prioritised over getting the offloaded versions.

Just picked my 11 up from Trafford Centre. Got to my 5-5:30 slot about 5:15, had to queue probably 20 mins to get into the store. It was seamless. Looks like there was a reservation and walk up queues.

Also had a screen protector put on. The invoice says it’s for the XR, are the the exact same size/protector, or do I need to go and get that changed?

iPhone 11 arrived today. All set up fine. Nice upgrade from my old 6. My apple care isn’t showing up an the about screen though. Looks like I’ll be having to contact apple over the weekend

I would say yes you can... this is the apple store app page I get when I click ”start a return” from the order page itself. I may be doing this myself. Ordered a 64GB that arrived today but I‘ve also got a 256GB coming in a week or so which I will likely keep instead.

Exactly the same. Most likely haven't changed the name on the system. All the XR screen protectors on amazon just updated their name to indicate 11 compatibility too

How you getting on with the standard 11 mate, is it as bad initially as you thought it might be coming from the XS?

O2 / DPD delivered iPhone earlier. Just back from Westfield for screen protector and case. All very quick despite it being heaving.

Toyed with new watch (series 4)so tried one on. Manager came over and said no need to join reservation line and 10 minutes later walked out with a 44mm SS gold with Milanese loop.

Went to Stratford this afternoon on a whim with no reservation.

They seemed to have plenty of stock, so started the iUP upgrade process from my XS to a 11 Pro MG, but was rejected by Barclays. I recently moved, and updated my address everywhere except with them. Gave them a call and was told that is why it failed. I have great credit otherwise, so pretty disapointed.

I've confirmed that my address with Barclays and Experian are both correct, so now plan on heading in when the store opens tomorrow to try again.

Anybody on EE with WiFi calling enabled having difficulty connecting their 11, Pro or Pro Max?

Option appears and allows me to enable it, but it won't connect on my 11 Pro Max.

Wife's XR on EE Wifi calling works flawlessly. Trying to narrow down if it's a hardware problem, iOS problem or other...

I agree with your comments earlier about the screen itself. Pixel density and brightness is fine. Total non issue for me. I like the fact I can see the same amount of content as the XS Max (albeit smaller).

It's just a little too wide I think. I might adjust over the coming days. When I start using it the bezels are very apparent but then a couple of minutes later they do become less noticeable

I'm surprised how much of an upgrade on my 8 the camera is, even though ultra-wide needs some careful balancing due to the lack of OIS.

Not seeing it on my iPhone 11 either (iOS 13.1). However, doesn't it only appear if signal is weak. Then again, difficult to explain why you'd have different signal strengths between the two devices in the same location

Just phoned Apple about DHL going AWOL..

According to the online status, it’s gone back to the depot?!

Apple offered me a free case & free wireless charger which I have already.. so instead they’re popping a £40 refund onto my card as ‘they promised delivery today!’.

Can’t argue with their customer service can you.. hopefully it’ll turn up tomorrow but that’ll mean trying to time my work break correctly again!

Tbh I dont see what the point was in timed appointments, I had one in Birmingham 1330-1400 I think I finally went in at 1410 roughly. Was a bit annoyed as I saw the queue and thought surely thats for people with no reservation, but nope everyone with reservations had to queue

Watford! It was funny because I’m there queuing up when an Apple employee ask what people are doing (upgrading, trading in etc..) when I said I am literally buying with none of the other stuff they lifted the barriers and ushered me straight through!!

The looks on everyone’s faces, I felt like a VIP ha ha!

Just came from regent street Apple. Had to queue up for around 20 minutes but they are quite quick with the turnaround time. FYI for anyone wishing to go to regent street for an iPhone 11 pro, they seem to have quite a lot, even with Apple watches. Just gotta reserve once you’re there in the line which takes a few minutes.
