There was zero queue last year at my local Apple Store when the XS models were released....
I’ve done a direct transfer from my X to my Pro but my special activity badges are currently missing, though all my activity data is in the app, anyone else missing their special badges?

If the XR released at the same time as the XS/Max I think there would have been queues last year too. Two models and two different target audiences this year with the traditional model and the Pro model released on the same day.

I've come to an 11 128gb from an XS, and you'd have to have better eyesight than me to see major differences in the screen. Form factor is great for me, and the camera is excellent. Really impressive release.
Now, if only I could download watch OS6, I'd be happy!
Picked up my iPhone 11 Pro in gold today, love the colour - I was worried it would be too yellowy, but it’s really not! It’s a lovely pearl colour ☺️

I was surprised at the queue in Edinburgh (and quite a few reserving slots for later) but then again I wasn't planning to upgrade this year and was swayed by the camera upgrades. That said I asked about swapping for a 256 11 pro in MG and there were none available and really when I glanced at the assistants console most pros on the list were not available.

On a serious note, this is just physics. To make the glass scratch resistant, they harden it. The downside is that hard objects are prone to shattering with impact, whilst a slightly softer item will absorb some of the impact and survive.That’ll be the new “tougher” glass
I had a Rado ceramic watch before my Apple Watch, and the big thing you needed to be careful of was dropping them on hard surfaces. After years of daily wear mine still looked perfect, but you would occasionally hear horror stories of someone dropping their watch whilst putting it on and the watch completely shattering.
I have both an Xs and an XR and struggle to see any real differences either.
Calculator, new faces, noise meter are three I’ve noticed.
Loving the Midnight green colour and really glad I went for the Max, it’s nice going back to a bigger phone again from the X.
Had the Apple Clear Case but that is seriously slippery so that’s going back. Now rocking the Forest Green Apple Leather which i’d ordered also and going to stick with this.
