I would have been fine if they had of cancelled it the day before, but only letting me know on the day after telling me it would be delivered two days early. Very poor customer service

Couldn’t agree more. I was worried about the credit check with a new network but I clearly passed. Wanted to leave Three for last two years as network is unusable in busy cities. You get off a train at Kings X and have no way to contact anyone you’re meeting up with until you move a few stops out.

Additionally thanks to unidays I’m on a better deal with EE!

Amazon have form for this kind of thing, I would never order a ‘launch’ item from them again. I had this with the P30 pro and Sony WF1000m3s, ordered well in advance with delivery confirmed on launch day and then the night before the dreaded delayed email arrived. I honestly think they guess as to what stock they will have.
 
What’s the verdict on Apple’s leather case? I am concerned that mine isn’t a good fit. The phone has come out of the bottom left corner a couple of times, but when you look at it there’s no discernible difference between left side and right of where the case meets the phone.

I had the very same story.

I ordered on 13 September with guaranteed delivery on 20 September and I checked with Amazon online chat that it would be delivered which was confirmed.

When I hadn’t received the usual despatch notice I contacted online chat again and was informed that my bank had not authorised the payment and I should contact them to confirm the payment. This is completely untrue and I spend quite a few £1,000’s every year with Amazon through business and personal purchases.

I checked stock at my two nearest Apple Store is earlier today with both showing the phone I want in stock for collection although when I went to cancel the Amazon order the status been updated and it is too late to cancel and the phone is due to be delivered on Monday!

Lesson learnt and this is the last time I order anything for release day delivery from Amazon.

Once I'd downgraded my iPhone XS to iOS 12, CPW gave me £615 for it this morning. Much easier than paying for special delivery, and worrying about packaging it up properly to send away.

Mine is also a good snug fit with no possibility on the iPhone coming out of it without me prying it off. Your does sound faulty.

Battery life is great, I've been hammering mine, and it is holding up well - charged last night at 7pm and got 50% now.

Only played with the camera a bit, but impressive so far. Took some interior shots of a friend's new house and they turned out so well that he sent them to all his family. Wide angle lens is so useful.

Updated the watch to OS6 now, so going to spend tomorrow getting everything set up the way I want it before the new software drops on Tuesday.

Normally only takes a few minutes at most. On occasion, it has taken me much longer. In that situation, it's worth rebooting.

I think you also need to be actually connected to the network, and not via WiFi calling or some such.

So, my fave(s) as follows…
  1. The Torras. Feels good, not too slippy or bulky.
  2. The Ringke Mirror. Feels great for when you need a rugged case.
  3. The Spigen Liquid Crystal. Feels slightly bulkier than the Torras.
  4. The Ringke Fusion. Same as number 3.
  5. EasyAcc. Waaaaayyyy to slippery.
  6. ESR case. Too small for my phone, as it’s for a non Max!

It should not be doing that, I had a leather a case on my iPhone 8 that did the same thing and had it replaced. My leather case on my X was perfect and I have one being delivered tomorrow from Amazon for my 11 Pro as they are selling those for only £44.
 
Picked up from Highcross. I traded in my X with them and joined the iUP, but was surprised
to see that the £290 they gave me for my X went towards the £69 deposit and the rest £221 was put back onto my debit card. I thought my monthly payments to barclays would have been lowered instead. Am I missing something or... any help appreciated

Same happens if you ring Barclays and overpay an amount.

Monthly amount stays the same, just less months.
