Amazon just stiffed me. Ordered on the 13th, they stated the delivered date would be the 23rd. Fine. Then they changed it to the 21st (today). Great! Then I get an email saying they don't have this in stock. So I contact and complain. They then change their story and say my payment is pending and they are waiting for authorisation. This is why they failed to dispatch the iPhone. So I phone the credit card company and Amazon have not requested any payment. Just sent another email to Amazon.

I am really pissed.
They’re talking rubbish. Got stuffed too, 21st sept delivery then this morning it changed to “awaiting delivery date” or something. Basically they tempted us with a false delivery date and plan to play catch-up

My 11 Pro Max was processing online and due for delivery between 1-8 October. Funds hadn’t been taken yet.

Just saw the same phone was available for pick-up today at the Apple Shop Regent Street, London. So quickly cancelled my online order awaiting despatch in China and paid for a pick-up today in Regent Street instead. Bingo!

Off now to get the tube to Oxford Circus to pick up my new iPhone.

Picked up from Highcross. I traded in my X with them and joined the iUP, but was surprised
to see that the £290 they gave me for my X went towards the £69 deposit and the rest £221 was put back onto my debit card. I thought my monthly payments to barclays would have been lowered instead. Am I missing something or... any help appreciated

Nothing will lower the monthly fee aside from choosing the iPhone Payments plan over the Upgrade Programme, where you basically do not pay for AppleCare+.

Additionally, calling Barclays Finance up to make extra payments will not reduce the monthly figure - all it does is bring your end date closer.

So many people getting totally screwed over by Amazon. They have a habit of selling me things they literally don’t have too. Then telling me it’s delayed , then it never turns up! Then I get a refund (or wait ages for it). They need to get their act sorted out.

Starting to think Prime is just one big rip off. Hardly ever get things “next day” anymore.

Hope you guys get sorted. Just collected mine. Ordered yesterday via John Lewis , click and collect via our Waitrose. Seamless. A good option if you are willing to wait to order on launch day.

I was worried ordering from Amazon but mine did turn up this morning. I was ready to cancel last night as I could pick one up locally but then I got a despatch message. Didn't believe it would be here until the postman knocked the door with it.

Found an improvement on the Spigen Liquid Air case for my 11.

Fits snug, thinner profile but still decent protection. A lot like the Apple versions I used to pay over the odds for! I can't get over how much thicker the 11 version of the Liquid Air is, really different to the one I had for my 8.

Starting to get used to the size now, in fact I'm wondering how I used to read Kindle books on my 8. The cameras are well worth the upgrade, miles ahead of any previous iPhones I've had (4, 5, 6, 8 in case you're wondering).

Hello everyone.

My name’s Neil & I love iPhones.

Almost as much as I like cases & screen protectors.

Ha! My name is also Neil and I love iPhones too 🤣.

Stormfront have seemingly slipped to 2-4 weeks for shipping on their website for the iPhone 11 so I suspect mine is one of those but looking forward to getting it.

However I'm glad I also decided to order the Apple Watch Series 5; really like how much quicker and fluid it feels in comparison to my Series 3.

I want the watch, but as soon as I get one my daughters will want one too!

May get them the S3 instead.......lol

Thanks for the info, had I known this I would have kept the X and traded in with mazuma etc for £410+

The genius in the Apple store said that it would lower my monthly payments, that’s the only reason I chose to trade in with Apple... oh well

My order from amazon still says Arriving Wednesday (but still processing) so I’m not very optimistic. They did sent me the leather case though which I’ll return of course if they delay iPhone delivery. Do they usually dispatch on weekends of I’ll have to wait for Monday?

Guys, I have the Apple Clear Case for my Pro Max but it’s just too slippery (and possibly a bit too bulky).

I am looking at the torras or Elixar - has anyone used these and got pics of them on their phones? Has anyone used any other ones they can suggest that aren’t too slippery or bulky.

Thanks

I received an Amazon despatch email earlier today with delivery on Monday (delayed from previously confirmed deliver date of Friday).

Loads of availability this year. Available at 10 nearest stores right now.

Genuinely had to google this in case they'd diversified their product.

Love the Torras, my new fave case.

Phone great (11 Pro Max SG) but wasn’t impressed with clear case - found it too slippy and a fingerprint magnet. Changed it today for my usual black leather. (bought from John Lewis as still doing 20% off)

Well, I emailed to Amazon tell them that my credit card company had not had any payment requested, and they get a generic email stating

Upon checking the details, it looks like this order is stuck due to a technical issue.

I've notified our technical team about this and this shall be resolved shortly.

This is complete nonsense. Gone back to them again

Hi everyone,

So, my girlfriend took the plunge and bought herself an Apple silicone case in black for her black iPhone 11...

She loves the premium look and it really sets off the beauty of the phone. However, she is a little concerned about the level of protection these cases generally provide. Does anyone here have any experience with these cases and how wear and tear of the phone is affected? The phone is usually kept in a handbag during the day so just wondering about scratching etc. Especially as the bottom portion of the phone (speaker holes) is exposed.

thanks!
