iPhone 11 UK iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max (2019) Orders and Dispatch Thread

Currently have a X and am torn between the 11 and 11 Pro. The additional £50 for the Pro over the X is really annoying, taking it over the £1K threshold.

Have previously used the iPhone Payments (without the Apple Care) plan. Nearest Apple Store is 120 miles away. Can I order online and pay using credit card, get phone delivered to home address, then take into Apple store within 14 days, get a refund and then apply for the iPhone payments? I did this with my X last time around, but didn't unbox the phone between receiving it at home and taking it into the Apple store. Is it okay for me to use phone within the 14 day return period? Reason I ask is that I plan to give the X to my wife and have a locked in price for her iP7 with Music Magpie and need to send it to them as soon as I receive my new phone.

So long as you're reserving outside of the Upgrade Programme or Payments Plan, you'll be fine.

The difference being that an outright reservation will take payment from you in full.

cant bloody decide!! Just not sure on green looking at the photos. Think I’ll go grey and if it upsets me that much I’ll just simply return it.

Also decided I’m not going to try for the iUP.. no chance of being accepted if people with perfect scores are getting declined, having a decline on my history won’t be great either!

I’m using about 10gb less than 64gb but I have a 2tb iCloud plan and 42,000 photos on it! I go for 256 though mainly because if I find some apps that push me over the spare 10gb then I’m knackered. Also if I am going to start storing the photos on my phone as want the full quality always available

My dilemma is whether to go for 512 or not. Usually I don’t. Always the ‘middle’ option but I figured with the new cameras and recording multiple streams I might burn through storage fast (I’m a pro video shooter and photographer) - but usually I delete the video files after each shoot and rarely hit capacity- BUT with the ability to record 2 or 3 simultaneous streams...and filmic pro pushes the file sizes to be way larger than the native phone app I wonder if 200 quid more is a good idea.

Won’t be getting green whatever model I get as the first car I ever owned & it was an utter disaster that cost me a lot of money I could ill afford back in the day. Have never purchased anything mechanical or electrical that was green coloured since.

Also stuck between the extra storage of the 11 Vs the telephoto of the Pro. I use telephoto a lot, kind of disappointed that such expensive phones don’t have 3x zoom, the Motorola One Zoom has that & costs about a third of the price. One of the reasons I want a change is my X doesn’t have enough storage, and I don’t do the iCloud.

You won’t be disappointed! I’ve had a silver (X and XS Max) for two years now and it’s a lovely colour.

Changing for change’s sake this year really, the Silver will always be my backup no-brainer choice

It’s kind of odd that iPhone Upgrade Plan users have the least flexible options should their chosen model not be available when they come to reserve. It’s a case of having to keep checking back until you can find one to reserve. I’d really like the option to just select my choice and then wait until Apple tell me it’s ready - like outright purchasers can.

The thought has only entered my head because I’m going for green and, judging by the reception it’s had here, something tells me the demand for it might be higher than anticipated. I’m not up for wasting time next week continually hunting for store stock on the app so if I can’t reserve one, I’ll just use my credit card and order for store delivery so that I can just get on with my life until it’s ready for pickup.
