....well, we were all correct about the iPhone being a no show. Am I disappointed? No - I knew they weren’t gonna announce them....!

The new iPad Air looks good but there‘s no way I’m paying the price they’re asking !

Apple Watch Series 6? Again - not for me. Not enough difference vs my current S4.

The only thing that interested me was the Fitness+ App - looks very interesting until they announced there’s a price attached!!

Even taking out the iPhone disappointment that was actually disappointing

I disagree - its kinda what I expected really

was just looking at my upgrade options on EE website and I can’t upgrade for free until the 20th anyway, too much hassle getting them to try and waive the ‘early’ upgrade fee for the sake of a day or two

Enjoyed the show, I'll be buying the Series 6 Watch in midnight blue, that looks great. Will need to make a buying decision on either the new iPad Air or iPad Pro.

As expected, no new iPhone launch after the clusterf**k this year represents but I certainly would have loved 'one more thing'.

Now roll on October for those iPhones!

....best thing to come out of the presentation was iOS 14 rolling out tomorrow, although, in reality, nobody will be able to download it tomorrow as the servers will be taking a battering from millions of other users!!

I can wait until the end of the week!!
😆

I always liked to wait for new phone before using new iOS, make it feel even more new

Interestingly on the watches, pricing is now generally cheaper than their previous counterparts apart from one.

The blue carries a premium at £429 for the 40mm vs £379 for the other colours at the same size.

Stainless steel starts at £649 for 40mm vs £699 on the Series 5 40mm.

Anyone looking for a new sim only deal this year know that many of the virtual networks such as Plusnet, ASDA etc who piggy back off of EE don’t have access to all of EE’s frequencies so where I used to get 2 bars signal with EE at home I now get no signal with Plusnet.

Assume this may apply to other networks as well, just a heads up as this was news to me!

That's only because of the strap included, switch to a sport band and it will be £379 as well.

I like the braided loop, but £99 seems expensive

agreed should not cost the same as a Milanese loop band

correct, avoid third parties. This is why it is normally cheaper.

Gonna order a space black Titanium series 6 and sell my series 3

Just not enough in it for me to sell my titanium ss5. Apple offering £180 for trade in which is a joke. Was £900 new!

No tags :(

Also happy with Apple one.. probably get the premium with available

For the 2nd year I didn’t jump on the beta wagon. Instead I jailbroke my XS Max and will wait to use iOS 14 when I preorder and receive my 12 Pro Max.

....yea Apple’s trade in prices are a joke - the store shows just £145 for my S4 SS SB Watch!

Really not sure how this ‘one price for all’ thing is gonna work though? I pay for a family iCloud storage at under £5 a month and I already have Apple Music through EE. What happens to these two if I then decide to subscribe to Apple One (which would include now iCloud and Apple Music)?
