I’ve managed to grab one from Apple pre-order but only store collect for launch day. Preferred delivery as working on 23rd. Tried to scramble around and see whether can grab one from delivery. Worst come to worst, I may need to cancel Currys if they cannot make it.
Hopefully you wont be sick and have to take Friday off work...🤢

What 3rd party charging plug is everyone going for?
I’ve seen anker mentioned a few times.

To those who did a trade-in with Carphone Warehouse for the £50 bonus, does your 'Trade-in confirmation' email include the bonus? Mine just has the £505 standard price, with no mention of the extra £50 which was there when I ordered.

For those who are trading their old phone in via Music Magpie, they're just replied to my email stating the offer is valid for 21 days, not 14. :)

Watch out for Music Magpie. I’ve used them quite a bit in the past and have always been very pleased. This week, not so much. I had an iPhone offer saved but it disappeared after eight days. When I queried this with them they relied to say that prices were only held for fourteen days. I replied asking why, in that case, my offer disappeared after just eight, but didn’t get a response.

I decided against getting the 12 pro max as I don't think I need the pro features really, so I decided to get a green iPhone 12 64GB on contract with Vodafone for 24 months (48GB Data, Unlimited calls/texts) £42pm 😁

wow - new customer or existing? Thats pretty good

Might want a 2 port USB-C charger to go alongside my 5 port USB-A from anker. That’d give me one fast USB-C for my ipad pro, and one fast lightning for my iphone 12 and my families ipad air/ipad 8th gen.

So still no sign of these Amazon orders cancelling and my delivery date is still apparently the 24th.. do we dare dream?

(Apple order still preparing for dispatch for the 23rd for when amazon do eventually cancel..)
i still don't think they will honour it but we may get a voucher if we complain. i spend thousands at amazon and for every mistake thy make they do give me something to say sorry which most other companies don't.

Tried everything with EE (using upgrade live chat and calling on 150), can’t get any cheaper than what they’re offering new customers. Don’t know how you’re all doing it!

I managed to get 10% off mine but that was all. Had been with them two years. I pretty much asked what they can offer or I’d look to maybe leave

they have actually honoured previous price errors i can recall years ago getting a dvd boxset that was retail price of 50 quid and got it at 10 and they honoured it

but this one will cost them alot more than that.

For anybody on or has been on o2...Do any of you have any info on cancelling with them?

I believe im on an o2 'refresh' which I started in May (12 month sim only at £20pm)

If I were to ask them to cancel, is it literally a case of having to pay the remaining months off up until next may? Im not sure if its any different with it being a 'refresh' contract.

Obviously if it was a case of paying the months off I wouldn't do it, but if it was maybe just paying a month or two then I would...reason being the signal where I am with them for 4G is just rubbish compared to what I had previously on Three.

Existing customer, I have a XR 64gb currently which I'm trading into Vodafone for the discount. They tried to offer unlimited data for around £50 per month which I also felt was a goodish deal but I don't use enough data to justify paying the extra lol

How about this, or is it overkill?

Case arrived ready for Friday! I'm now realising as long as the phone is actually this size i made the right choice moving from my 6.4 inch galaxy note 9.

The width seems just right too. I feared it would still be too big but we shall see. I am hopeful now seeing the case.

Use live chat like many people do on here to obtain these deals.lol that the worst offer I ever heard 20 pounds for 20gb data haggle for 100gb data under 15 pounds or 16 pounds for 200gb.

There’s loads of people not getting these offers. I tried various methods. In the end just went for the 100gb for £20 one.

You pay off what's left on the 'Device' part of your bill. You can find out how much is left on your account on O2's site. When you do that, the 'Airtime' part ceases. Often, you can pay this off in full (or nearly full) by recycling or selling your phone.

My delivery date for my MagSafe charger went from 30th October to 11th November 🙄 but I won’t even have a phone until either on or after 13th November

Wow. I could not get EE to budge on the 100GB for £20 per month.

luckily my friend is a student and gave me a code so was able to get 200GB with Apple Music for £20 per month.

I was out of contract as well but they were having none of it!

I’m coming from the Note 10+ to the 12 Mini so will be quite the change!

Thanks, I don't suppose you're on o2 and can point me in the right direction where to click in my account? I can't find anything

The phone is outright mine from Apple, o2 is just a sim only deal I have with them

Where are you seeing £14? Cheapest for the iPhone 12 is £25:

Ah I'm going from when my wife got the 8 screen covered. Maybe it was 25. Sorry!

How about this, or is it overkill?

thanks. That looks good. I think I only need 18w for the phones but my iPad Pro and my daughters air will charge at 30w.

edit: hmm apparently my wife’s iPad 8th gen has a 20w usb c charger so I could use that for all phones with fast charging, then I just need a 30w PD
