It's very good if you want to charge an iPhone at the fastest possible rate (0-50% in half an hour, then fairly quickly on to 80% before slowing down for the final 20%). It's also very good for the more recent iPads with fast charging and the MacBook and MacBook Air.
Yes I noticed that when I looked at my 5G coverage both at home and work. It indicates outside only which is a bit disappointing as I use my phone far more indoors. It’s not as big a deal at home as my Wi-Fi is pretty good but the Wi-Fi at work is quite poor.
Thanks, I don't think I've ever been in position where I need to quickly charge my iPhone as I always charge it at night and on the train when visiting my parents, which isn't going to happen soon

Yeah 6.8 inch screen. Was always hanging out the pocket of my trousers. Have been using an iPhone 8 for their last week and it’s so nice having a smaller phone. Excited that the mini will be about the same size with a bigger screen
I just called up EE to try and get something close to what is being reported here. Chap I spoke to said cheapest smart sim is £25 for 200GB, won’t budge at all, says he is part of retentions anyway so he is the furthest you can go. Even though due to their technical issues and me not being able to access MyEE account for 5 months won’t give me anything.
I will probably go with graphite if blue is sold out/isn’t available
I think it’s highly unlikely especially now with them having to manage footfall even more because of the Corona Virus. When I ordered my 20W charger online for in store pick up the information I received was that it would not be available before my chosen pickup time.
Don’t get John Lewis not doing pre-orders until on Friday (?). All other usual suspects in the UK seem to be at it already ?

im looking at it for my iPad Pro and maybe my daughters iPad Air although she could charge at 20w..
For phones it’s overkill - although ankers 20w is almost the same price so a 30w gives you some headroom for future devices? And if you charge wireless then no? It’s no use for you
Yes I do as well, never like the glass ones. I also normally get nediadevil, and also their pouch.
The mediadevil says release 23rd, but wouldn’t mind a one until comes. Not sure on Apple one, says £25 again and I’m not convinced they are any better really. I had one for my 11, and was just ok, although for was great as done in store.

That’s the plan I went for - and got for £20. Have been a customer since iPhone 7, and was out of contract. If similar applies to you, try the online chat... I was offered 10% as the ‘maximum’ with ‘manager approval’ but kept going and got 20%. Think myself quite lucky, but I used the ‘unlimited data at 22.40’ that someone posted here as a straw man to show that they had received closer to 40% off and I was ‘trying to meet them in the middle’ haha.
Depend who you get on the phone/live chat had many agents never budge or even help just keep trying they will keep notes on your account knowing you never give up or pushed around like a cash cow.
John Lewis usually open pre orders the day before, if I remember correctly (or maybe 2 days before). I was able to preorder for launch day collection from my local Waitrose (I think this was for the 11 pro - I already had an order with Apple though so didn’t need to bother). I don’t think they‘ve taken preorders for the new Xbox yet either which I’m waiting for! Not sure why they are always late.

Right, so you were able to pre-order Thurs for Fri (launch day) collection ? I think (might be wrong) others have reported pre-orders Fri for collection / Saturday - which seems a little odd.
So - who’s joining me in the queue at 9:45am on Friday morning at Bromley Apple Store?! 
Yes was definitely able to order for launch day collection. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be the same this year though, so may be worth asking them (especially as there doesn’t seem to be as much stock available!)
