I had a pointless online chat with EE yesterday where the first agent said I didn't have 5G in my current plans, and the second one said I did. So I am none the wiser. I also have a line with Three and find their 4G speeds much better than EE where I am (60/70 MB v 15/20 MB on EE).

If you took out the sim after April 2020 it is 5G ready from my understanding

I’m getting the 12 Pro Max, Xbox Series X and PS5 so it’s going to be an expensive month for me. At least I’ll get some money back when I sell my 11 Pro Max.

Well I said that there was no way I’d buy a first gen 5G iPhone.
As usual I’ve totally gone against my word and just ordered a Graphite 128GB 12 Pro from O2 for delivery on Friday!

They mostly use UPS in the USA or when the phone is coming from the factory to you

Apple mostly use DPD but it all depends on where they ship the items from. If they come direct from China they'll use UPS but if Apple flies all of the iPhone's over first and then dispatches them from the UK they'll come with DPD.

...apparently my wife’s iPad 8th gen has a 20w usb c charger so I could use that for all phones with fast charging, then I just need a 30w PD

This is the '12 Pro' version of the same case I had for the iPhone 11 Pro Max and my favourite case from last year. Simple but it has held up!

....not necessarily.

Don‘t forget that when you took out those 4G contracts, 5G wasn’t even a thing so don’t assume that your sim (no matter how new) will support 5G.

You should call them to be sure.

Found after I ordered they do green now! I imagine this is what the caudabe may be like but 37 pounds cheaper.

I may use a lanyard strap to secure to my wrist on occasion as it has the holes for a strap.

I’m gonna contact EE tomorrow as I want to look at changing my tariff to a 5G one. I am currently paying £22 for 100gb 4G which I got 2 years ago.
Will probably push for unlimited data as I’d like to add a data sim for my iPad so I can gift some data to it.

I don’t have 5G in my area yet so not too bothered atm. I’m with o2 and had great relationship with them for about 10 years now and will continue that. Just changed to a £12 sim only contract (was previously on a £15 a month one) but it’s great I just change it every time a new offer comes along 😂
