I had an awful experience when I ordered my iPhone 12. My order page wouldn’t work for a bit, then my payment hadn’t gone through & I wasn’t told. Then I didn’t receive any delivery information until the day of delivery (DHL I think). It came earlier than expected, though. Hopefully I don’t have the same issues tomorrow
Expecting the package but only one package should be 2, we shall see what happens later on when they receive it.
He means did they charge you the cost of the new AirPods then refund you when they got your old units back? They usually do that for express replacements of phones etc.
I have a notification in the DPD app stating that there is 2 parcels due tomorrow, one of which that they can't leave safe so I assume that's it (I think the 2nd parcel is work stuff). No email from DPD yet and the Apple status still shows due tomorrow.
Fingers crossed it all updates soon and I'll be able to upgrade the delivery.

I don’t think Apple lets you upgrade the delivery. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they encourage DPD to deliver their phones earlier!
I've also registered on the DPD app, provided a particular set of instructions to the driver to get to my house tomorrow, given a safe place and preferred neighbour drop off if they don't ring.
All set but current app status is no parcel or shipment activity yet.
Patience is a virtue, today of which I have absolutely zero!
Now paranoid that setting up preferences in the app will trigger something in their system that delays the parcel...
The option to upgrade your delivery will be based on location and whether they can physically deliver your phone in that time frame due to demand etc. If they cant deliver it before noon for example they're not going to give you the option. I've had it a few times with DPD.
Still preparing to ship, no DPD email and no updates on the app apart from a Nike parcel, it’s going to be a long day after seeing loads of shipped messages on here!

My Max will be delivered by Apple's courier on Friday 13th so, if that's what it says on the order status, then I'll take that to be their intent. Same for DPD, or whoever they use, they aren't going to deliver it on some special early delivery round just for Apple - it will end up on the local vans delivery van when it reaches the local hub and it arrives at some point in the day. Looking forward to getting it but really not going to fret about its arrival.
One thing I did do was cancel the MagSafe Charger aspect of my order over the last weekend as earliest it was going to arrive was some point next week - ordered it from Curry's and arrived within a couple of days.
