After reading some benchmarks today I pulled the trigger on an M1 beastie too, and a Samsung 4K HDR monitor.

Won’t arrive until long after the Pro Max excitement has waned tomorrow, but I guess it’s something else to look forward to before whatever Christmas ass malarkey will be possible.

Out of interest which monitor did you get. 🤔

Good Mooooorning UK iPhone crew!

Welcome to Happy iPhone 12 Pro Max/Mini Day! This long haul flight has finally reached its peak as we all fly in to approach final destinations. The time has just gone 5:00AM - UK. The sun is about to rise on the horizon, the weather will be bright and sunny all day.☀️🌅

Apple pre-order team has been cruising at a steady altitude, tracking incoming DPD/DHL packages outta Hinckley hubs.
Closely flanked by are the service aircrafts EE, Voda & O2, all making some good progress.

The John Lewis iPhone flights will be taking off soon, they'll go supersonic so be sure to get ready early for the 8:00am launch before you miss your flights!

Congratulations to the late Very & Curry teams for making it to shipping air status before we land today! After some turbulence, looks like you guys shipped late last night. Next stop to depots and out for delivery, hopefully via Royal Mail or similar, not Yodel/Hermes (who should be grounded!).

I see a lot of people still being stuck with Three, Amazon & a few others today due to cancelled or postponed flights. I'm pretty sure others will be with ya’ll so strap in for a bumpy ride, hopefully everyone makes it down without major delays or terminal velocity!

My own Pro Max lands in later today from Apple direct via DPD. No need to worry people, we’re going to see a lot of activity along with a final smooth delivery onto tarmac to final touchdown today and over the weekend.

2020 has been a momentous Apple launch, the best I can remember since iPhone 5 launch. Apple truly delivered for us after a really tough start to a new decade. What a ride. Last mention goes out to Jinjin, kudos for the major effort with this collaborative forum each year. Rare to see around these days!

I'll be checking out now for 2020. Look forward to a brighter future in late 2021. Expecting to see more M1 silicon hardware in Macs, MacBooks & MacAirs, arrival of Airtags, redesigned Watch, even better iPads, Homepods etc. With iPhone 13, hoping we will get the 120hz refresh rate, an iOS overhaul and perhaps no notch! Either way, the tech future sounds promising!

Until then Apple friends, wishing everyone happy and safe iPhone travels today wherever you are.🌏👍🏻

Thank you for flying Apple Airways, we hope you enjoyed the journey and we'll see y'all on the flip side! 🛫😎:apple:

If your phone isn’t on 100% battery when it arrives, should you charge it to 100% & then keep it between 30-85% for best battery health? I tried following tips for my new iPhone X battery last year when I first got it, but I’m on 89% health now....

Mine through EE says "with the courier and will get a timeslot through DPD". This has been showing since 12pm yesterday when others have gotten timeslots, I've received nothing from DPD.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Mine has updated 1.47 at delivery depot for delivery today with DHL when following the text tracking sent to me yesterday. Be glad to be back to iOS after using android

I see you just deleted your post but for your sanity, mine is still on its way to depot. Same happened with my xbox. I then get an update at about 6:45 am saying its due for delivery by 7:45 because theyre quite close.. this is the way. Dont stress if your parcels are on their way to depots still - DPD (atleast for me) are really good

Considering this is the first time I have ever had the pleasure of a DHL delivery, I am not over impressed compared to DPD.
No text received from them
No update since yesterday morning

DHL still showing on there tracking delivery today but still in Ryton

It will be fine they just update systems at different times.
Have had many deliveries when they were UK Mail and all was ok. I got the Xbox delivered by them on Tuesday. Late with texts but still arrived.

yh still hopefully but they could learn so much off DPD. For such a large company DHL tracking is shocking

Depends on expectation. Some companies offer more others offer less. I like to see where it’s been and landed but even if I don’t as long as I have the delivery date I am more interested in Out For Delivery. Some companies will scan each and every item on a pallet that has arrived into the depot. Others will scan the pallet which updates for all the contents of the pallet. I expect DPD do the latter and DHL do the former.
