Have you checked the watch app on your new phone, does a watch show there?
No. It failed during the transfer to the new phone said it couldn’t be completed and now only option is to wipe everything which I am not happy about to be honest with you.

@bigup Any specific reason? The space the Belkin leaves around the edge is rather unsightly.

@Dino F how is the Belkin better quality? thickness? touch/feel? something else?

When I said the Belkin is better quality I was referring to its durability as the one on my iPhone XS is now into its third year without a single blemish, scratch, chip or anything.

It didn't do my watch either... it appeared to, and indicated an action could be agreed on the watch, but there was nothing and it was still associated with the old phone
Did you have to unpair from old phone and repair to new phone? If so, did you lose anything (as far as you can tell so far)?

Am very impressed with the size and feel of the Mini. Great to have a phone I can comfortably use with one hand again.
I’m loving the mini so far! One thing I didn’t realise is how light it would be, even after only a few hours picking up my old phone now feels SO HEAVY.

Mine also didn't transfer across my watch as it said it was meant too but just took forever to actually get started on the transfer, still unsure whether it would've been quicker doing it from iCloud like i always have in the past
Has it finished now? Did you lose anything unpairing and repairing?

Phone arrived, love it! Unfortunately managed to mess up all three ESR screen protectors lol, I cant leave them on if they are not PERFECT 😂

I‘m really not understanding how people can mess up just ONE of these protectors???

It comes with a blue plastic ‘guide’ which you first place over the screen of the iPhone.

Next, holding the protector upside down over the iPhone screen and ‘guide’ , peel back the protective plastic film on the protector (whilst continuing to hold it up upside down - this ensures no dust can fall onto the face of the protector) and then slowly lower it down on top of the ‘guide’ which ensures 100% correct alignment.

Finally, press down in the centre of the protector and watch the giant air bubble slowly move itself towards the outside edge of the screen. Any further smaller air bubbles can be teased out with a small squeegee or plastic card or even a cloth and voila! Done!!

Takes me literally 10 seconds - I’ve done hundreds of these for family and friends. This method ALWAYS works flawlessly!

So it’s gone quite badly so far. It failed to assign the Apple Watch on the new phone despite me saying yes pair so now I just have a red phone symbol and a line through it on the watch. It won’t let me try again. I have to set it up as a new watch and lose all my activity goals?
I'm in a similar boat...

First time using the Quick Start function to transfer settings etc from my XS Max to my 12 Pro Max...gotta say I'm not impressed! It's been stuck on 5 mins remaining for the past half hour, and also hasn't transferred my Apple Watch

My 12 has rebooted etc, and is happily downloading apps, but the XS is just stuck on 5 mins remaining...plus I'm gonna need to repair my Apple Watch by the looks of it

The Quick Transfer process does NOT transfer Apple Watch from old iPhone to new.

When I did my transfer from XS to iPhone 12, everything transferred over other than my S4 Watch. I had to then unpair the watch from the XS and repair it to the iPhone 12 (you can’t have a watch paired to more than one iPhone at a time) but once I repaired, all the Apple Watch data from old phone to new was brought over (it kept all my historic workouts and everything).

The process of unpairing the watch from an old iPhone actually creates a backup of the watch. When you then repair it to the new iPhone, you just opt to ‘Restore from Back up’ instead of ‘Set up as new Watch’.

Do you guys not get the email from Mujjo offering a free 12 case of any choice? You just had to purchase from Amazon either direct or through a retailer. Write a review, send the link to the review then submit an invoice through PayPal for the purchase price. I’ve already had my case and my reimbursement.
No, I've since sent it back (posted on 30th November) Got an email from them a couple of days ago acknowledging receipt and saying they would refund in 5 working days.
I paid using my First Direct Bank card and got stung for a couple of quid "foreign currency processing fee" I expect the same with the refund.
My own fault for wanting to support the company directly, in hindsight I should have checked Amazon first, less hassle and cheaper in the end, plus I'd have noticed that last year's iphone case was half the price of the 12 and probably about what it's worth.

It does ask you on your watch if you want to pair the new phone to your watch while you’re doing the quick transfer. You’re right though it doesn’t do it automatically

Well it looks as most of us have received our phones which is great.
Guys its been a pleasure as always. I love these delivery threads.
See you all next year for next years watches/phones in September or whatever.

Take care and stay safe.
Nothing like a new iPhone to bring the community together in these troubled times!

Thanks for the laughs, the tears and the virtual queues and hopefully see you all back here next year :D

It’s worked for me. It’s not great but give it time and your watch vibrates and asks if you want to transfer. The system needs to be far more transparent IMO.
