STORAGE: As has already been discussed on here has anyone had any changes to their storage issues, I had a 512GB Xs Max and as you can see had loads of spare storage, so when I went to get the 12 Pro Max I thought I would downsize to 256GB, but WTH is going on, when I recovered the Xs Max data from the cloud it has almost used up all my 12 Pro Max 256GB storage. I am running out of time to get the phone changed to a 512GB, anyone else seen anything happening to their phone since they had it?

Jasonht had his status changed to Preparing for shipment (on a Thursday), received his tracking number the same day and had his phone delivered the next morning.
Finger crossed same thing happens to us !!
Best cases you can get in my opinion. Always buy one every year fir my iPhones.

SO awful I sent mine back! £59? they are having a laugh, a HomePod mini with a 20w charging block worth £20 is only £99
And by the way there is no protection other than the VERY thin leather stretched over the very thin plastic, nothing like my AppleXs Max leather case, they are going cheaper and cheaper IMHO, like not sending out a charger with my new expensive iPhone 12 Pro Max so they can get more in the trucks to save fuel, BUT they ship the iPhone box in another box 4 x as big that could have had a dozen chargers in it. I would look, feel and smell one before buying, and by the way if you can smell anything but glue, no leather smell you have a better nose than me!
We had 3 nights there before going to up to Seattle, I agree apart from the Bay area and the main tourist places I didn't think much of the San Francisco. We done the bus tour, then the Golden gate, Alcatraz and a boat ride, all of them where excellent. The food was excellent pretty much everywhere, the hotel was having a laugh at with their prices, we found a great little dinner just over the road from our hotel near Union Square. So cheap and amazing food.
Just to fill time while people are waiting for their phones, has anyone been using 'People Detection' much, I thought I knew how big things were but this has been interesting, only thing is people think you are filming them while playing with it.
If you haven't used it its worth giving it a go and here is how:
Go to Settings
Go to Accessability
Go to Magnifier
Turn on Magnifier
Then when you either ask Siri to turn on magnifier, or set it as a double tap on the back of the phone, look for the icon at the bottom right showing 2 people apart, turn that on then point the phone at someone, they must be within 15ft for it to work and you will get the distance shown 👍

Mine smells of leather, and as the other person said I’ve bought an Apple leather case every time I bought a new iPhone and they’ve lasted years and provided enough protection to keep every single device near on mint. The price is excessive in the sense that it’s a lot for a case, other leather cases are also similar prices. Your XS case was made the exact same way, every leather case since the first one they started selling is leather wrapped around plastic! There’s no other way to shape them without running into fitment issues. If your spending 1k on a phone then the case price is nothing to protect it.
The phones get shipped by Apple in containers, it’s the hubs etc that put them into cardboard boxes and these vary in size from place to place, country to country. So you receiving a large cardboard box isn’t apples doing. No one is forced to buy any Apple accessories, so the moaning about price is redundant. Simply buy something else if you don’t think it’s worth the money, personally there’s not a better fitting and feeling case. Also the removal of chargers wasn’t solely to reduce size, the bricks actually use up a lot of metals and plastic, so cutting those out was the main idea not just reducing packaging size.
Anyone else on a Nov 30 delivery date still? Waiting on a 256 Pro Max Blue, really hoping it comes sooner! I've got a case and screen protector here waiting for their host!
Me but today the status changed to preparing to ship so fingers crossed 🤞
My delivery date was 24th Nov to 1st December. Status changed to Preparing to ship on the 16th and it stayed like that for nearly three days and then late last night it changed to Shipped and arrives tomorrow at 10am. You are probably seven days away from having it it your hands.
If you ordered it from Apple then it will stay on preparing to ship for a few days as it makes its way from China. Status wont change until its in the UK and DPD are scheduled to deliver it.

Had one on my last 3 iPhones and now on my 12 PM, love them and never had a problem with them, only thing I'd say is their not designed for a rugged environment, if your phones going to be knocked about a bit it'll protect the phone but the case will look awful in a really short time.
Admittedly £59 is a bit steep but if I was more concerned with price I'd be using an Android not an iPhone, luckily Amazon had them in when the 12 PM pre order went up for £48.10 then I noticed if you take out one of their credit cards (never going to use it apart from this purchase) you get a £20 gift voucher so got the case for £28.10 Bargain!
😲😲😲 that's amazing, best I've had so far was 495 mind you that was indoors and for some reason my house is in a sweet spot, but can't wait to try it out in the city centre to see what I can get, probably some time in 2023
