Anyone know what the difference is between the Soigen EZ Fit and Alignmaster screen protectors is? Is the Alignmaster one of the ones that covers the bezel as well as the actual screen?

I think they should have some stock for "walk ins" but who knows.

When I bought my 12 Pro Max i had ordered online but ended up getting a pick up at my store on launch day. Just keep checking online for pick ups and if that fails then try your luck by just turning up.

Is it me or have the Pros sold out faster this year? the Natural Titanium sold out of it's initial batch on Apple's website in like minutes.

Checking my local store, they still have the 512GB Pro available for day-one pickup for all colours except natural titanium. All Pro Max colours at 512GB however are unavailable.

No, called again. Wouldn’t rely on a callback personally, the fact the systems have gone down on the biggest day of the year is enough to suggest they aren’t competent enough to rely on a callback lol

How does a payment over the phone get 'verified'? Is there a chance the bank could still block it?

Finally done at 1:20 after an absolute nightmare, kicked out of the Apple store app, then couldn't get back in, eventually when I did get back in, my pre pre order was nowhere to be found, then couldn't get in again, then finally in on the website through Chrome and my pre pre order was back, so after all that it's a Friday pick up from Watford of 512GB PM White.

I missed out on launch day for the first time ever. Store apps would just not load and eventually for it though on the website after 15 mins by which time delivery had slipped. So an extra couple of weeks waiting which is a shame and will probably dent the sale price of my 14PM too as I don’t want to sell it until I have the new one. Ah well…

I've just looked at my AMEX account.

I placed two separate orders for:

15 Pro - £999
15 Pro Max - £1,599

I've only be charged £999, does that indicate anything regarding the PM but it's 100% gone through and I have an order confirmation email and it's showing up on my Apple order history.

Managed to get a pickup on launch day when I finally got into the store at 1:30pm. But I had to switch to white from Natural, which I hope I won't regret.

My original PM natural / 1tb preference is now showing "7-8 weeks" (November :O) as is white. Blue and black still available in October which is odd (I'd assume after they come straight from factory, that stock would be uniform. Maybe different machines do different colours, or there are resource issues).

Interesting to see the thought process for memory size - the 256 and 1tb were all gone, but 512gb still around. I guess the thought is either "I only need 256" or "I want as much as possible".

Well another less than perfect experience to report. Apple Store wasn’t loading until 1.05pm😭 then it took a good 2 minutes and kept erroring when trying to pull the pre-order info. Had to manually go in and pick my iPhone again and the trade-in. Then the delivery date slipped BUT managed to get one for pickup on launch day at least 🙏. Apple Pay-d the purchase, still haven’t been charged yet (debit card). Order status is “We’ve received your order”.

No idea, she just asked for the details and said that’s successfully been added to your account now. The status has been updated from awaiting payment to processing items. I suppose it kick back but I phoned the bank prior to authorise the initial charge so hopefully it all works now.

Would have prefer to use paypal and avoid all this hassle but the website wasn’t loading at all at the time ( since the option isn’t available on the app).

Absolutely dreadful this year wasn't it? Didn't get on until 1:10 and that was on my Mac. App on iPhone kept coming up with an error....

Gutted mate I need it for next week so I can sell my 14 Pro to MM, need to now find a temporary phone for a few days, otherwise I lose my trade in.

I only got my 14 Pro end of April but I found something out everyone the Apple Store in Birmingham have said if you buy one abroad the warranty is still valid mine is from China and I think it can take 2 SIM cards at once but not checked it as can’t be arsed taking the case off but I had 2 members of staff confirm they would look at my phone if it developed a fault nothing wrong with it however I only went into Apple Store for a look around a couple of weeks ago
