Anyone else who obtained a UR trade-in quote getting spam SMS messages from them reminding them to send in their device?

I've just received 41 identical reminder texts in under 4 minutes.

They stopped when I clicked through on the link to unsubscribe, fortunately!

Managed to get my black 15PM 256gb ordered for delivery on Friday, whilst sat in LHR T5. Store app kept timing out, once it let me in. Managed to do it in a browser with no issues. Email came through at 13:10.

To anyone stuck on a declined payment you do seem to keep your delivery date when it gets sorted - mine still says the 22nd.
Had to call my bank as the payment was flagged as fraud. Worked fine once they had unblocked it.

Updating payment details (on the website) always seems to fail. Either that or a second bank (Revolut) thinks it’s fraud too.

512GB 15 Pro in Black Titanium gone to Preparing For Dispatch. Amazingly after that palaver trying to order the bastard thing.

Did finance as when I ordered my 11 and my MBP I had an absolute nightmare trying to pay with 0% cards. Hours of back and forth, literally never had it with any other purchase apart from Apple.

yeah my bank unblocked it and i've been on hold with apple for 2+ hours getting nowhere.
 
Did anyone on the IUP get a Pro Max for launch day? Couldn’t get into the store until about 13:15, and then couldn’t get it to retrieve my IUP info - either on the app or website - until about 13:30. Once I was able to reserve, it showed me launch day time slots, but when I confirmed it, it changed to 27th-2nd.

I appreciate it’s a super first world problem, but surely IUP customers are some of Apple’s most profitable - I realise I pay a fair premium for convenience, but instead leaves me a bit disappointed that it was such a palaver.

No launch day fun for the first time in a few years, but hey ho - good things come to those who wait…
Did get a 15 Pro Max in 256GB white for launch day on iUP, but it did take me 15 mins to get onto the store itself and a further 5 mins of repeatedly trying to bring up my iUP page to upgrade. Wound up with a lunchtime Trafford Store reservation, with all of the a.m. slots already gone by 13:20.

Frustrating, as per so many other's experience. One particular niggle was prior to the store going down, I could open the Apple Store app, tap my account picture and iUP was directly linked from there. Once the store was back up, no direct iUP link so had to browse and search to get to my iUP page to upgrade. Could have been simpler ad would have strongly preferred an early morning pick up time so I'd only need to take the morning off work. Will wind up taking the entire day as leave here, but, as you say, first world problem.

Sounds like a nightmare for some people.

I just clicked the link in the calendar reminder on my phone at 1:00pm and got straight through. Added Apple balance and authorised the payment in the chase app.

Apple are a ****in joke. This shouldn't be allowed. I'm pissed off not being able to pay but if they are ****in with peoples credit then that's not on.

They are one of the biggest, if not biggest, companies on the planet and can't even take orders properly.
Sigh, after reading around a bit more I became convinced this was just a pre loan agreement and I hadn’t fully agreed to it so all good. So I went ahead and ordered again. It’s on hold because Barclay’s need more info. I have a good credit score and usually have no problem with this kind of thing so strongly suspect it’s due to the hiccup earlier. Oh well, I hope they get in touch soon.

I managed to get 8am slot for Trafford Centre.
