My delivery won’t be until 2nd to 9th October.
Bit annoying that missed the launch day window.
But it’s only a phone - I’ll just focus on my daughters in the meantime - leave the initial impressions to those for whom a new iPhone is the most important thing happening in their little lives.

This year, I will be collecting my iPhone 15 PM on launch day next Friday.
This makes up for last year, when I did not receive my iPhone 14 Pro until 10 Oct. An iPhone 14 that I ordered at the same time was received on launch day.

Does Apple do a USB A to USB C cable or anyone know of a good one to get?

It's unlikely that Apple will do such a cable. That would allow people to continue to use their old USB-A chargers, when Apple could be selling them a new USB-C charger. I was just looking on Amazon and there some USB-A to USB-C cables available there. I've ordered an adapter, but I may also try a cable if this does not work out.

Yeah I’ve got one and it literally feels like glove box felt. I’ll give it a try as I don’t like how grabby the silicon ones are in the pocket .

What’s the best 3rd party case at the moment? I went for the Tocol off Amazon, it arrived yesterday but there’s a cut out for the new action button that seems like it’s far too recessed to useable. Seems like it was meant for the old silent switch. I’ve just ordered the ESR, hopefully that’s better.

I believe that Apple/Synchreon despatch the phones out to the carriers for delivery.

Yeah, the phones arrive at Syncreon Tuesday or Wednesday I think.

Then the couriers (UPS, DPD, UKMail, DHL?) pick them up and distribute them to the relevant hubs, ready for delivery Friday.

Good point, I didn’t think of that. I don’t really want an adapter as it’s a cable for my car so I’ll go to Amazon. Are there any cables that are better than others?

I just activated my music magpie quote I saved two months ago. Saw the kiosk option lowers it significantly so I picked Royal Mail instead. Does anyone have any recent experience with this? If I send my phone on 25 September, will I get the price they promised or much less for it? I thought you have three weeks to send it but there is no info anywhere and it only mentions 7 days?!

Also even if they receive it, will they honour the quote given iphone 14 pro max went down in price significantly following apple price changes due to stronger gbp currency exchange?

When you say significantly, how much? Thought it was £20 fee? If so by time pay for RM SD fully insured it would only be £10? If so I’m fine with kiosk as is instant once goes through, but if a lot more then will change.

What did you get quoted for 14 Pro, what Gb?

Anyone managed to get the tracking code working on EE?

Are you using your order reference for this? Or did you get something else from EE? I had my order confirmation within 15 minutes of ordering but nothing since. When I track my order it fails every time which is frustrating as hell
