Which 15 Pro are you getting?

didn't risk it personally with MM.. had a 850 and 800 saved but all the reductions left me with a feeling they aren't going to meet are quotes from last feb 🤣

decided to go with my UR 799 quote and not risk potentially losing £100 or so
This is what I'm thinking. Received the box and postage label from UR today. Might pay extra for recorded delivery though. Is that what you did?

My iPhone 15 Pro Max case arrived from Apple this morning, despite me only ordering it yesterday with my iPhone and choosing the cheapest delivery option!

I had a total disaster, worst pre-order experience ever! Errors at every possible step, app kept resetting and coming up with the “we can’t wait either” screen midway through checkout, website had similar issues as well.

I tried to order any model for over an hour, even the 15 Plus, and it wouldn’t go through for me. So I’m taking it as a sign and gonna keep my 13 Pro Max for another year at least. I was in two minds about upgrading anyway, as it doesn’t seem like much of an improvement to me.

Congrats to those who got what they wanted, though! ❤️

Edit: I should add that I did have a “pre-pre-order” in place, but it said my session had expired when I tried to checkout and then it failed to load over and over. Pretty disappointing!

So, after getting over my first-world emotional trauma, I've gone and pre-ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Black Titanium... expected delivery is 17-24 October. I'm still disappointed not to get one on launch, but I'm not in any rush. Also gives me a chance to check out the reviews, seem them in-store and read the reports from early adopters before totally committing.

I'm mostly curious about how well the darker finishes are going to hold up. I'm hoping that the brushed PVD coating will be decently scratch resistant, although I'll probably keep my phone in a case whenever I'm out and about.

I was never a fan of the Graphite and Space Grey iPhones, but found myself really tempted by the Space Black last year. Really happy to see proper black continuing with the titanium phones! I've always bought light-coloured models since the X onwards, so I'm actually quite excited to go back to a black phone. Gives me the same vibe as the 7 Plus, which I had in matt black and loved.

On a side note, has anyone seen early reviews of the FineWoven cases or received one themselves? I'm really disappointed by them, they really don't seem worth £59! I might go with a simple black MagSafe case by Spigen or someone instead.

Edit 17/9: I spent some more time thinking about this and decided to cancel the order. It's just not worth £684 to me, over two years and after trade-in. I’m gonna hang onto my 13 Pro Max for another couple of years, as originally planned!

(Music Magpie website referring to SMARTDrop Kiosk)

It's super easy to use!

Simply tell us what you want to sell and lock in your price using our website, then head to your nearest kiosk and follow the instructions on screen! No hassle, no fees and no waiting around!
Regardless of MusicMagpie’s extremely dubious practice this year of not honouring recently saved valuations, here is conclusive proof of their disingenuous behaviour in black and white: NO FEES.

Paypal credit offer 4 months 0%. Where are you getting upto 36 months from?
Different stores different offers and each person has a different
I wonder how many of the 209 people / 31.4% (and counting?) in the poll are now getting natural titanium, or did anyone switch to get a launch day delivery (I did, to white. I updated my poll answer)
i switched to blue

I've never had FOMO as severe as when my first iPhone (the absolute legend that is the 4) slipped into late October.

Spigen are really good, I've never been unhappy with anything I've bought from them. The official cases are pricey enough that I expect way more than anyone should for a phone case.

It say's £20 for me to use the kiosk with MM. So for a faster payment and guarantee £780 now might tempt me.

"You can enjoy all of these benefits for the small fee of just £20.00 (taken from your final payment)."

It does seem odd but they have their uses. I’m currently looking for a USB-C to Micro-B to use with my Kindle.
They’re available on Amazon. These are a few I found.

Anyone else who obtained a UR trade-in quote getting spam SMS messages from them reminding them to send in their device?

I've just received 41 identical reminder texts in under 4 minutes.

They stopped when I clicked through on the link to unsubscribe, fortunately!
One day later - I've just received 24 identical emails from UR in under a minute (subject, "Don't forget your valuation"). Again they only stopped when I used the Unsubscribe link. Presumably that could cause a communications problem if I do choose to take up their quote. Might tilt me towards using MM instead.

If they are not honouring the agreed price then it is very simple. Tell them you disagree with the adjusted offer and take your phone back. Sell it elsewhere.
And of course proceed with a review so that others can know.

When I saw that... I was like immediatelly no. £20 for an in-person delivery is way too expensive. So I opted in for Royal Mail Guaranteed Special Delivery by 1pm, which has baseline insurance for £750 and went with a different buyer.

It’s even simpler than that. I’m passing my 14PM on to a very lucky family member rather than part with it to them.

One thing is certain: I won’t ever trust MusicMagpie again. Just my personal opinion. YMMV

If people are looking for an alternative leather case with a wide choice of colours and styles, take a look at Story Leather. Not cheap and come from the US, but the case for my iPad Pro 12.9” was lovely and lasted well.
Story Leather look decent quality. Their prices are very similar to Vaja which I am also considering, quite a few colours available:

Me too. 256GB iPhone 15 Pro. Black titanium. I also bought a black Mujjo full leather case - very fast delivery sent from the UK. It arrived Thursday and it is really nice. There's a leather smell I never got from the Apple leather cases.

Would you say it's the best leather case out? Better than Bellroy and Ryan London? I am looking for a high quality case for my 15 Pro.

I am confused why are people buying USB cables? Doesn't the phone come with a cable in the box? if yes, why purchase another one?
