For all you Ford owners (myself included) with Sync 3.3 / 3.4 you can actually obtain a new USB A / C hub to replace your current one, be warned though on the fusion / Mondeo an adapter for fitting will be needed!

Can you expand on this I’ve got a focus with sync3.4 and I thought I’d just get a usb type a to usb type c cable ?

Kickin myself for cancelling my original order with delivery on 22nd but it was so much hassle trying to actually pay for it!

My delivery is 17-24 October now. I know I'm wasting my time but I keep checking hoping to see it preparing for shipping or saying an earlier date lol. I've got another 5 weeks to wait The only good thing is that the configuration I went for (PM, Black, 512GB) is not the most popular.

I'll be checking availability for pick up in store. If it means getting a train to another city then I'll do it

I’m sure you’ll find what you want before mid October. You just need to diligently check stock levels every day. Once every 5 minutes should do the trick. And have your Kawasaki ready to whisk you there 😂

So there are two types available:

The larger ones are available by searching for the Ford USB C Hub Sync 3.4 (I'd post the eBay link but it's ridiculous how long it is)

The smaller one can be made to fit the larger apertures that are in the Mondeo for example with a adapter frame from AliExpress!

I've had Bellroy and Apple leather cases before. I'd say the Mujjo looks better quality and it smells like leather! I think the quality of both Bellroy and Apple leather cases worsened over the past few generations. Mujjo will provide a free returns label should you wish to return it within the first 14 days so it might be worth a look. I have read about previous Mujjo cases where some say the buttons are hard to press - but this has been an issue with the Bellroy too and the solution appears to be to depress the case buttons a few times before you put it on the phone.

Mujjo is a Certified B Corporation too - which is pretty good for a company which produces animal hide products!

For me, the big advantage was that the case is shipped from the UK and you'll probably receive it with a day or two.

I guess its all opinions.

I have opted for the 15 Pro this time, I normally get the Pro Max, so as the Pro is smaller I don't need to care about how bulky the case is like I did when I had the Pro Max.

Have a look at Argos, looks like they have launch day availability for some models.

i opted for a clear case from Peel, someone mentioned this a while back and I ordered it Thursday night. Unfortunately it's being shipped from the US incurring $13USD shipping plus $7USD customs/tax minus 10% discount $4, total GBP is £46. No tracking yet, so I am assuming it will not arrive on time when I get my phone. So a cheap Amazon silicone case as a stop gap . I would really want to go caseless but when I try it with my 13PM it just feels slippery

Have you had a Peel before? Always tempted but as say it’s from US and so customs etc.

They just seem really expensive, are they really any better than thin ones off Amazon?

I’ve been jumping back and forward between P and PM. As the PM is slightly thinner and lighter this year it makes sense to get that, however it’s still a chunky and heavy phone. Just not sure I could go back to the P screen after using the PM for so long.

For those of you who moved from the Pro Max to the Pro, did you regret it and go back to the Pro Max? As I have said, I have ordered the Pro but I feel I am going to miss the Max's battery and bigger screen....

Not this year but did with the Iphone 13. Went from Pro max to pro and honestly I couldn't believe how much I hated it and I have no idea why. I thought the smaller screen would have been ideal and wasn't that fussed about losing a bit of battery life either but I gave it a day and sent it straight back. lol

This is fine for charging but it’s going to be a slow speed cable like the one apple includes in the box. Should have bought usb 3.2 gen 2 cable instead which supports 10gbps transfer rates.
