It's there such a thing as a matte screen protector for the 15 Pro Max? My 14 Pro Max had to have one of the glass ones as nowhere seemed to do them, Belkin usually came through but nothing last year or seemingly this year.

Plus I hate the glass ones with them being one shot, any dust and it's in the bin

Never used one myself but this brand has been around for a while…

Thank you for the link, unfortunately the black boarders puts me off! I'm extremely picky, though I will put a question to yourself and the forum, I keep mine in a leather slip pouch, is it worth this year daring to go screen protector-less? How many of you forgo the screen protector these days?

Would you say it's the best leather case out? Better than Bellroy and Ryan London? I am looking for a high quality case for my 15 Pro.
I've had Bellroy and Apple leather cases before. I'd say the Mujjo looks better quality and it smells like leather! I think the quality of both Bellroy and Apple leather cases worsened over the past few generations. Mujjo will provide a free returns label should you wish to return it within the first 14 days so it might be worth a look. I have read about previous Mujjo cases where some say the buttons are hard to press - but this has been an issue with the Bellroy too and the solution appears to be to depress the case buttons a few times before you put it on the phone.

Mujjo is a Certified B Corporation too - which is pretty good for a company which produces animal hide products!

For me, the big advantage was that the case is shipped from the UK and you'll probably receive it with a day or two.

Do you have pictures of it please? I’m on the fence about buying it ☺️
You need to see it for yourself. My photo of it would be identical to the product photos on the Mujjo website, so no point. I think it looks and feels nicer than the Apple leather case. Buy it and you have 14 days to return it, Mujjo will issue a free returns label. Buying from the UK makes it so much easier!

No Smart Kiosk option from MM despite the fact I can pretty much see the local Asda from my house. Before I knew it I’d completed the process so I now need to wait to see if they reply to my message. No way am I sending it via the Asda parcel service with only £150 cover. At least they seem to have honoured the £725.

I’m considering going for a different brand for a leather case this year. Saw a couple on here including one from the USA which looks ok, not a fan of the branding embossed on the side.

But I’m torn between leather or an Apple clear case.

Every year I just order the Apple leather and have the fine woven but 90% thinking of returning as it feels so cheap and nasty.

Leak season may be over, but still time for a questionable, low quality unboxing video suffering from Twitter compression

It's a clone phone and not the real iPhone 15 Pro. At 0:18, you can see that the front glass element on all three camera lenses look identical. On the real iPhone they're different sizes. The flash is also slightly recessed into the camera module whereas on the real one it's flush-fitting. Also all three lenses in that video look like they have a thick black bezel in the rim of the cover glass whereas on the real deal they're thinner and different sizes.

I’ll go back to silicone I think. Watched a couple of those finewoven reviews and the fact you can permanently mark it with a nail scratch puts me off… I’ll get one of those the first time I pull it out of my jeans no doubt.

Will try it over the weekend and the decide on what I do with it.

What I dislike about the silicon is it’s so grabby in your pocket for me when I’m out working it’s constantly in my pocket

I’ve never used one, never scraped screen or had damage to it

Ok, so so is updating to 17 tomorrow?
I think I will do it on my iPad and Apple Watch, but stay on 16 with the phone so on Friday I will not only have a new phone, but a new iOS as well.

I plan to only update devices that are still on the 17 beta (I disabled auto-updates right before the RC released) just to get them back on public releases. Is it true that the beta releases collect diagnostic logs more frequently than public releases? If so, switching back to public release might give me better battery life.

Plus, Bellroy's exposed action button really bothers me... it feels like they locked in the design without knowing that it wasn't going to be a physical switch, otherwise why wouldn't you cover it like the other buttons?

I've got a FineWoven which I picked up yesterday... I'm gunna give it a go for a few weeks and see how it holds up. Mujjo definitely looks like the best leather option at the moment though.

Maybe you should remove your false nails before you use your phone :p

If you are really into leather case like me, I would recommend Mujjo.

It is full leather case with all 4 buttons covered wit aluminium. Colour Burgundy is quite nice. But I ordered for Dark Tan.

It is same leather quality as Bellroy and Nomad. Just need to careful not to drop the phone as leather will chip off as same goes for normal Apple leather case.

So has anyone actually found a usb a - usb c cable that will definitely work with a 15PM for wired car play ? Or is it better to use a usb c cable and one of the little a - c adapters.

As long as it’s a USB A to C cable that supports data it’ll be fine. I have a cable that lets my android phone connect to my car so there’s no reason at all the iPhone wouldn’t.

Unless Apple have done something to prevent it but can’t imagine so.

I’ve ordered some cables off Amazon that people say they’ve used for their phones in the reviews

I'm sure I read they've got to be mfi certified to work with iPhones etc, I've got loads of usb c cables as I'm coming from as S23 Ultra, guess I'll wait and see if the car in the car works with the iPhone, it works flawlessly with the S23 Ultra for Android Auto so 🤞🏼

I’ve ordered the Monaco Blue 😊IMG_0027.jpeg

I've collected in store on release day before but never paid attention other than to the iPhone.
Will the store let you review other products such as the AW series 9 and the new bands?
I'm undecided whether to downsize to a 41mm so I would like to try them in store next Friday.

All new products used to be on display on launch day so you can kinda browse there after collecting the phone, even if you have an 8 am collection time.
