I buy a lot of Anker stuff. My only issue with the cables is I’ve not seen any they do that work faster than usb2.0 speeds. But they’re very well made.

Not this year but did with the Iphone 13. Went from Pro max to pro and honestly I couldn't believe how much I hated it and I have no idea why. I thought the smaller screen would have been ideal and wasn't that fussed about losing a bit of battery life either but I gave it a day and sent it straight back. lol

Okay I might cancel my order and go for the Pro Max.

For those of you who moved from the Pro Max to the Pro, did you regret it and go back to the Pro Max? As I have said, I have ordered the Pro but I feel I am going to miss the Max's battery and bigger screen....

I moved to 14 pro from 13pm and regretted it, so I’m going back to 15pm and the extra 5 x telephoto will be useful for me too.

Spigen for me never let me down no dust etc etc or the Torras look good but silly price compared to spigen imo

I have two orders from Amazon (and one from Apple direct).
The orders from Amazon are for iPhone 15 Plus 128GB Pink and iPhone 15 Pro 256GB Black Titanium.
I just received two emails, one for each order, from Amazon with new estimates and the website no longer shows Pre-order and Not yet disptached, respectively.

They both state 23 September 2023, which is Saturday, the day after launch.

Kickin myself for cancelling my original order with delivery on 22nd but it was so much hassle trying to actually pay for it!

My delivery is 17-24 October now. I know I'm wasting my time but I keep checking hoping to see it preparing for shipping or saying an earlier date lol. I've got another 5 weeks to wait The only good thing is that the configuration I went for (PM, Black, 512GB) is not the most popular.

I'll be checking availability for pick up in store. If it means getting a train to another city then I'll do it

I ordered late on purpose as I’m away until the 27th but ended up with it being too late (9th to 16th October!) .. I’m keeping my Apple order but planning on attempting to get one maybe from John Lewis (their site says there’ll be more on release day) or I managed to get one from AO one time who were good. But I’m not cancelling the Apple order until I have a phone in my hands!!

I've had Bellroy and Apple leather cases before. I'd say the Mujjo looks better quality and it smells like leather! I think the quality of both Bellroy and Apple leather cases worsened over the past few generations. Mujjo will provide a free returns label should you wish to return it within the first 14 days so it might be worth a look. I have read about previous Mujjo cases where some say the buttons are hard to press - but this has been an issue with the Bellroy too and the solution appears to be to depress the case buttons a few times before you put it on the phone.

Mujjo is a Certified B Corporation too - which is pretty good for a company which produces animal hide products!

For me, the big advantage was that the case is shipped from the UK and you'll probably receive it with a day or two.

I'm using a 6.1inch temp phone, I think it must be because I am used to the pro max display but I am finding eye strain to be really bad looking at the smaller screen. I was considering going to Pro this year but am definitely staying with Pro max after this eye strain.

Also doesn't help getting older!

I think whether you are going from a pro to a pro max or vice versa, you've got to give it a go yourself and not base the decision if other people regretted it or not when they did it.

I'm going from pro max to pro but I'm not the kind of person a smaller screen with bother but maybe four years ago I was, I'll miss the bigger screen but I'm happy with a smaller phone for many reasons.

Ok, so so is updating to 17 tomorrow?
I think I will do it on my iPad and Apple Watch, but stay on 16 with the phone so on Friday I will not only have a new phone, but a new iOS as well.

Have updated my Watch & iPad to the latest public RCs as well as my iPhone (not upgrading this time around) - just keep an eye on optimised charging as it’s stopping bang on 80%. If you use your Watch a lot throughout the day then it may be worth turning it off in the Settings if your charging patterns are all over the place like mine is at the moment.

Everybody is different and maybe I might adjust to the smaller size and battery..

Yup, it’s part of AO. I’ve used AO directly before and they were good. They had the phone I wanted when nowhere else did.
