Looks like the White and Titanium 256GB are both 7-13th Nov delivery whereas the Black/Blue are 17th Oct. The darker colours aren't that popular.
I guess it’s similar to the MacBook Air colours. The grey and midnight blue weren’t as popular as the silver and starlight. Midnight and blue iPhone are nearly the same shade same with starlight and natural titanium. Something to do with the coating putting people off

Have you had a Peel before? Always tempted but as say it’s from US and so customs etc.

They just seem really expensive, are they really any better than thin ones off Amazon?
This will be my first one, hoping it thin enough to make it feel just like a transparent silicone glove for the phone 😁

Hi people looking for a bit of advice please, does anyone know if you can change your payment type of your new iphone when you collect from an Apple store. Say from loan to paying outright or visa versa? TIA 😊
Your best course of action is to pick it up in store, then return it for a refund. After that you can buy a different device (if they have stock). The store can’t exchange your phone if it was purchased with finance online - it has to go back for that. If you bought outright but now want to get it on finance, that’s perfectly doable. The store can return it and resell it to you on finance. Unfortunately though, you may not be able to do it on the spot - they might have to book you a reservation for later - to buy on finance you have to join the queue.

the folks who have bought and received the ASR Armorite screen protector.. was it the one from Amazon? I can see the below which comes with the lens covers too... can't say I've ever had them before.

also, if you've received yours, did it have the little notch at the top for the speaker.. I know the 14pm one does but images for the 15 don't seem to show it.

not being facetious but why are so many people buying new usb-c cables?
you guys doing lots of data transfers from your phone? where you having issues on your current/previous phones doing so?

also with all the companies suggesting stock on the natural PM for delivery day, I'd be cautious.. maybe give them a call and see if they've really got stock for next Friday.

seen so many stories of disappointment on these forums over the years
It's for Apple CarPlay, my car only has a USB-A output so I need a USB-A to USB-C cable.

What you can do is phone Barclays later and ask for a settlement figure and pay it off. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to change from paying out right to the loan.

@BillGates1969 as the resident Mr home automation... what's your smart plug of choice? seen you can get a few which monitor energy usage + HomeKit integration.. the Eve plug comes up as the one bits its a bit pricy.

would want to then build automation around it (switch on/off at certain times etc)

That’s the one. Yeah no speaker notch this year. Also the case with others such as Belkin (the ones Apple applies in store).

Included lens covers are a new thing but can’t say I’ll be using them.

Let me know if you can hear ok when you get the phone. I want to see if it’s ok without a speaker hole before I buy one.
I've been using Torro cases for years, none have had a speaker hole in the case and I've never had a problem.
a as

a folio and glass is the front torras cover not enough ?
I use the screen protector more for scratches but always better to be careful with how expensive these devices are.

As long as it’s a USB A to C cable that supports data it’ll be fine. I have a cable that lets my android phone connect to my car so there’s no reason at all the iPhone wouldn’t.

Unless Apple have done something to prevent it but can’t imagine so.

I’ve ordered some cables off Amazon that people say they’ve used for their phones in the reviews
I ordered this one. I hope that CarPlay will work RAMPOW Cable USB C [USB 3.0, 1M], Cable USB Type C Charge Rapide 3A QC 3.0, Cable Chargeur USB C Nylon Tressé pour Samsung S22/S21/S20/S10/S9, iPhone 15/15 Pro, Huawei P30/P20, Xiaomi - Gris Sidéral https://amzn.eu/d/iGMguwP

Quick question, do companies typically have more stock or stock set aside for pay monthly deals? I have noticed there's lots of them in stock for 22nd delivery for pay monthly and since I wanted the phone for launch day I reluctantly went with a contract.

cheers.. maybe the position has changed on the 15 with its slimmer bezels.

I'll order these and see how it goes

Do you think the cases will be in the store next weekend??
I want to go in to see the colours as I can’t decide between four of them!!
Orange Sorbet, Winter Blue, Cypress, and Clay (on Natural Pro Max)

They are already in store. I just went and got one. Unless you mean on display .

I'd say 90% of people are going with 256GB. Anyone going bigger?
I made my 11 last 4 years due to the pandemic and baby (though mainly childcare costs) and I think I'll get at least 3 years out of this phone, so I've gone for 512GB. For longevity and shooting RAW files without worrying about storage it makes sense, though it still blows my mind that 512GB used to be my absolute max for MacBook storage!

Any other 14 Pro Max owners, who are starting to get buyer's remorse even before they have received their new phones? I feel like both the watch and the phone very much belong in an "S" year cycle..

Thanks....I think I'll just go back to a normal SIM card as eSim has always been a b@llache with EE since 2018.

Much easier when you took the SIM out of your old phone and put it in your new phone.
I use a E-sim and have for a few years. Once the iPhone is set up you can go into the EE app and download a new eSIM pretty easily. And because your using the app it doesn’t need to send you a text as it verifys your log in details.

Anyone tried the TORRAS brand before for screen protector? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CB6GCNXF

The reviews for previous models were good so I decided to give them a go. The film that removes potential dust particles is cool! Reminds me of a specific Chinese company doing silly TikTok videos with that kind of application 😄
I ordered them today. My biggest problem with screen protectors is lint getting stuck underneath, so I am looking forward to trying these with the new applicator.

It still sent a text to me last year, despite using the My EE app on the new iPhone. Luckily, I hadn't wiped or removed the eSIM on my previous iPhone.

So if the first thing I do on the new phone is install the EE app and log in, I should be able to download an eSIM directly to the new phone?

If I then get home and wipe the phone and restore my backup, can I download that eSIM again?

Where exactly is the option to download the eSIM, I don't see it on my current phone (but is that because I already have the eSIM installed?)
