Right, final decision; Going with my Barclay's finance order. Spend ALL morning trying to cancel the Carphone Warehouse. Never again. Phoned them this morning and was told I need to call their sales team. Was given the wrong number "the number you have dialled has not been recognised" so phoned them back again. Was given a different number ('no, I cannot transfer you to the sales team"). Again number not recognised so a third call to them. This time they gave me another number. After trying 3 times I got through. Was on hold for 30 minutes before speaking to someone. Order cancelled in 2 mins. Not a very customer friendly company Carphone Warehouse.
Do you have the correct number to hand? I need to cancel too (cheeky f**kers took my money pretending to have release day stock then moved to November delivery) and I’m having no joy finding a number on their site.

Awful company to deal with.

Where are these cases from?
The actual Mujjo website or Amazon?
I ordered direct from the Mujjo website and dispatched from the UK, so no issues around import duty and VAT. I think Amazon are the same price but they don't seem to stock the cases in Monaco blue at the moment, though that could change. According to the box they are designed in the UK and made in China.

Have to admit, giving the picture of the Monaco Blue one posted up on here earlier, I'm tempted to order and check it out despite not being impressed in the past.

The blue is also darker than last years Monaco blue
The new case is actually lighter (I was the one who posted the picture and the new case is on the left). I'd say it is closer to a navy blue with last year being a more black blue. They do refunds in the first 14 days so can always order it and see if the colour choice is to your liking.

sell.ur.co.uk - kept quotes relatively high when others started dropping.. when there were doubts on MM honouring prices and the shenanigans with kiosk, I took a quote out with UR and sent it off.. same timeline as @mark-in-mk. Sent Weds, delivered Thurs, paid Monday.

EDIT: as of a few days ago, UR.co.uk have stopped accepting new iPhone 14s for selling
How long did we have for quotes again?

Thanks .. assumed they were a trade-in place but good to know another id is on the block. I always used to lock-in mazuma the day before the new phone announcement and normally found a 5% extra code around. I'm on the apple upgrade nowadays so miss that game a bit.
I've got a locked in quote for £725 from Mazuma, used them previously with good service. Given the shenanigans people are experiencing with Magpie I think I'll head back to them this time round.

Saw a few recommendations in this thread for this combo, nice change from the Spigen case i normally go with.

14 days for UR

But also worth keeping a few days buffet at least for weekends. I sent mine in on Weds, RM showing delivered Thursday but I only had the “we’ve received your device” email today.

I’d aim to have it with them by day 10 to be safe

I locked my quote with them on Tuesday last week and will send my 14 Pro off on Friday by Special Delivery so should be with them on Monday.

That would make it the 13th day right?

Not sure how UR work with their 14 days. They may not count the day Royal Mail Drop it off to them as the received date but when they open the parcel up. Mine was received Thursday and only confirmed today

Tempted to use UR over MM after reading some posts here. Is it as simple as MM as in I can pack it off myself and they send me a QR code or do I need to wait for them to send me a pack?

Also do they have any sort of promo codes?

I’m sending an iPhone 12 mini off, the only thing I have no answer to for their ‘good’ valuation is ‘must be 500 or less charge cycles’ - any idea what the easiest way to check this is?

The Monaco blue one I had last year was a really bright blue (see my media history)

I just paid for my own to send back. You can select that when you check out and they will email you a label to stick on the parcel. Then I took the o post office and got next day before 1pm and insured up to £800 for under a tenner

Sorry, this is a fast moving thread so didn't want my reply to get lost. What issues with the MM Kiosk have people reported? I'm due to give that a go this weekend...

Yeah it would be 13 days. Their email just says ‘send your device within 14 days’ so I’m assuming that if it’s delivered within that time then it’s ok.

Mine was Tuesday as well so I’ll be doing the same.
Well let’s stay in touch and see how we get on!

This is from the UR t&c, so looks like it’s when they receive the phones so we should be ok.
