Has anyone traded in with Envirofone this year, or in the past? Have a £700 quote (14 Pro Max 256Gb) with them which is more than going through others like Apple / Argos, and I missed the UR trade in train…

So I managed to preorder with mobiles.co.uk - they did a 1p credit card check as ID Mobile. Approved on my virgin credit card app. All good. Saturday morning at 6am got a text from Virgin Money saying they blocked a £1199 charge from mobiles.co.uk reply asap to confirm ok or fraud. Of course I was asleep and confirmed at 8AM. Today got emailed saying they need more details. 40 minutes on hold to their number after ringing it 10 times and auto message saying call back later… I got through. Verified my card again and all good. But now said delivery is by 3rd of November for Blue 15PM…

So I guess I’ll be chancing a local pickup on Friday and hope I can reserve.

Still a little unsure if I want a Max or not as I left the Max idea with 11PM which felt too big to me. Kind of bored of having the same form factor for 3 years with 12/13Pro/14Pro phones I had so thought to get a Max again. Wonder if I’ll regret it… I kind of feel typing is a little uncomfortable on the non max phone as I even type this. As my hands are rather large. So a large phone is nicer from that point, and videos. Talking myself into it am I 🤣

Did anybody else receive a text/ email today delaying their order by a week. Not a great experience after not being let into the online store for 10 minutes!

Natural Titanium looks nice but to me it doesn't look finished, which is essentially what the colour is supposed to reflect. Don't see the point in choosing Natural Titanium if you're just going to put it in a case though.

There is no point for any colour, if the phone is going to stay in a case. Only the rear cameras area is visible.
The colour is mostly there for the very few times that you will take it out of the case.

I see your point but the camera bump colours on the other models (and with most iPhone models) is more of a colour match, whereas Natural Titanium is more about reflecting the phones natural metal finish. The camera bump is glass/plastic so isn't a good reflection of the 'natural titanium' element.

I just think Natural Titanium only really works if naked or with a clear case. Maybe I'm wrong.

I’m still annoyed the crimson red 15 Pro never came to fruition.
I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed that the "later in the cycle" colour will be Product Red. Given the normal iPhone 15 has pastel/muted colours I think it's reasonable to expect it'll have a pastel red colour for that and then maybe the Crimson Red/dark red for the Pro.

Just conjecture but it seems odd for them not to release a Product Red phone. When was the last time Apple didn't release one?

Actual titanium isn’t that colour either. It’s still just marketing and a colour closer to gold really to appease the gold fans mainly. Still gets it colour from PVD.

There’s also “natural titanium”, which isn’t literally natural but is achieved through a PVD tint that looks like what people think titanium naturally looks like.

I've used them loads and have had nothing but good experiences so far. I have my pack from them sitting waiting for me to send off once I get my 15 PM on Friday.

There is a Product Red iPhone 15, isn’t there?
