Should be fine if using eSIM quick transfer. Won’t need to use the EE app
If you do need the app to "download new sim", be aware that sometimes it doesn't activate for some reason.

If so - see this: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/SIM-cards-Porting/Can-t-activate-eSim/td-p/1153622

It explains how there is a background sms activation that fails, and if you login to your account on web (not app), and you can sort it from there.

Had this happen a couple of times over the last few years.

I just called EE myself for an update. I was basically told that EE have postponed ALL Pro Max orders because Apple have delayed stock to them. Only phones going out are the Pro’s.

Still can’t see it myself but it’s been an absolute s**t show this year. In fact they beat the previous record of being the worst launch ever.

Imagine claiming to be the best network 10 years in a row and they can’t sort out a launch, that happens EVER SINGLE YEAR!

I ended up biting the bullet and ordered a finewoven case even though a lot of people seemed unhappy with them.

It’s just been delivered and I have to say I think it’s really nice. Feels lovely in the hand and I really like the material, lovely and soft. I think the taupe will go really nicely with the blue titanium.

I’m sure it won’t age well but I do look after my devices and accessories.

I am with EE for the last 5 years or so. Yes, they used to be the best network, but lately in Central London I regularly have problems with their network.
A couple of months ago I could not even get the Citymapper working. Meanwhile my father’s Smarty SIM was just working fine. I know Three is generally bad, but lately they seem to get much better.

SMARTY has been rock solid for me! love them.

I second this. I’ve noticed really poor performance from EE in London recently. Thought it was just me

Im glad I ordered Pro's :D

Tbh EE never promised launch day delivery for Pro Max. From the start they've been telling customers its 14 days maybe thats why peeps who ordered Pro Max received text or emails to contact EE to confirm order details.

Same here, with EE on SIM only last 3 years, been going into Central London regularly lately and even use map navigation is difficult. Also lossing signal regularly in supermarkets.
Thinking moving but I like the Apple Music with EE due to high resolution music.

Must have happened today, I spoke to someone on EE chat and they confirmed that my phone has been picked and getting ready for dispatch at the warehouse

I just wish they would bring in ESIM. Meanwhile I am still waiting for Honest Mobile’s promised magic service. They say their SIM would roam internally, so no more black spots. I personally find hard to believe, but yeah.
