My DHL notification has come through and I will be getting my iPhone tomorrow!
This is what I mean .... they are completely clueless and we've had eSIM for YEARS!!I phoned EE to ask about getting an eSIM (I have a physical one) the bloke on the phone said that the eSIM was for a 2nd number and what number did I want. I wanted my existing number on there, instead of on the physical SIM and he said that couldn't be done. So I have stuck with my physical one.
Take two micro fibre cloth with you. One to clean the inside glass of the machine and use other to clean you device before inserting into the machine.Sorry if this has already come up but before I subject myself to the annual terror of depositing a circa Ā£1k asset into an anonymous MM kiosk in Asda any experiences this year? TIA
I was dancing like that too š
Mine still processing as well, don't worry.I'm still waiting for my "ready to pick up" for my apple.com/uk order. I guess the Brighton store is busy today š
The Amazon orders are still saying "arriving Saturday", but Amazon usually dispatches around midnight and they might not even do that today. We shall see...
I only have "Activate my SIM/eSIM"I switched to eSim using the myEE app, took only a few minutes to transfer my number
Under Profile - Settings and Permissions - Replace my sim/eSim
Thanks šš»Take two micro fibre cloth with you. One to clean the inside glass of the machine and use other to clean you device before inserting into the machine.
And Dont Effing Drop It.
And reject the offer if you are not happy with it.Thanks šš»
odd - on mine replace is directly below thatI only have "Activate my SIM/eSIM"
Iām not sure what to think so far, but mine hasnāt had that type of damage and neither did my leather one.Mine still processing as well, don't worry.
For "fine woven" people - In the end I opted for silicone case - worried about wear on the fine woven.
This is a picture of the "take a look at me" fine woven wallet at regent street store.

They didn't seem to "rub away" when I tried briefly. Maybe a suede brush could do it, I was in a hurry.
To be fair, we're talking the store demo one. For all I know someone took their keys to it to test (edit: Or more likely those look like nail marks).Iām not sure what to think so far, but mine hasnāt had that type of damage and neither did my leather one.
Iām sure if people started scratching the leather it would leave marks as well. Will be interesting to see how the FineWoven holds up against moisture.
Was that when you had only a physical SIM too?odd - on mine replace is directly below that
it was a while ago, but i think it was. remember it's EE, never works the way it shouldWas that when you had only a physical SIM too?
How many of us who didnāt get a launch day delivery are going to be on the Apple Store website at 6am tomorrow? šāāļø
Ā£285 sounds like top dollars for a 12 Pro with cosmetic damage. Take the lower value on the chin. If you didn't, put a decent case and screen protector on the phone.Tempted to ditch my Apple trade-in for my 12 Pro. Offered Ā£300 (although I have a small chip in the bottom right corner of the frame, and corresponding chip under the screen in the same corner).
MM offering Ā£335 for excellent or Ā£285 for good, which allows for small chips. Seems they might be the best bet, can risk an āexcellentā grade and know what the knock down price will be.
UR offering Ā£341 but the next level down is Ā£120 š
Damage being very subjective aside, any ball parks on how likely any of these trade-ins are to knock down prices? Not sure where to hedge my bets š¤
