Carphone warehouse are even worse than I thought possible.

I placed an order for an PM 256GB on pre order Friday; I got a mail confirming my order and delivery date of 22ndSeptember. I then got a mail 2 hours later stating an delivery date in November. They had already taken my money immediately.

I called customer service to cancel and spent 30 mins on hold to be transferred to Sales; that went to a prerecorded message saying they were too busy to take calls. I called customer service back, after 40 minutes I was promised I would be transferred directly to a sales team member and of course just got the same recorded message. I have called them multiple times a day, every single day for 5 days now and not gotten past the too busy to answer recorded message.
In the mean time I have mailed every day requesting a refund and not heard back, not even an auto generated acknowledgement mail. Nothing.

They have taken £1200 from me on false pretences and for a week I have not been able to communicate with them in any way. I’m pretty sure this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced; how are they still in business?

Just been into EE and changed my eSIM back to a physical SIM. Really can't be @rsed with all the hassle of getting a new eSIM working. Going back to old-skool with a paperclip and moving the SIM over when I get my 15 Pro Max tomorrow.

Thankfully I can now get a Voda eSIM from work, so that meant I could ditch the physical Voda SIM that was previously tying up the SIM slot.

Physical SIM is like a comfy warm blanket.
I phoned EE to ask about getting an eSIM (I have a physical one) the bloke on the phone said that the eSIM was for a 2nd number and what number did I want. I wanted my existing number on there, instead of on the physical SIM and he said that couldn't be done. So I have stuck with my physical one.

For those who have ordered for in-store pickup tomorrow, have you received your check-in email yet? In the past I've always received a check-in email on 4PM the day before with instructions on what to do on the following day but this time there's been nothing.
Looks like I received my ready to pickup email last year Thursday, 15 September 2022 18:13

I switched to eSim using the myEE app, took only a few minutes to transfer my number

Under Profile - Settings and Permissions - Replace my sim/eSim

For those trading in with Apple and with pick-up option for new iPhones, I have just received an email from Apple saying that they have sent the trade in kit!

Somebody mentioned earlier a similar experience... they eventually got through and sorted a refund but took a while

Preordered directly with apple, and it was due for delivery tomorrow. I’ve just got a DHL notification that they have my parcel, but it says estimated delivery Monday!! Can anyone advise is this normal practice for DHL to over-estimate, or am I not getting it tomorrow now? The apple site still says delivery tomorrow; I’m due to sell my old iPhone over the weekend so I’m really disappointed.
similar thing happened with me and DPD last year, my phone did a wee tour of england, disappeared for three days and magically appeared the next week. Good times.

Not had one yet and the pending charge on my credit card has vanished. I’m guessing this is all normal and will sort itself this evening. 🤞🏻

Does anyone’s Apple Store order show up on the DPD app? Usually with any orders sent by DPD from most retailers, the tracking automatically comes up on my app but this time I had manually add it inn

@Shazia @Chucky1991

Order Complete

Your order is now fully processed. For delivery information please check the DPD tracking link on the email or text you have received.

Please note due to the high value of the item we can only deliver to the billing address provided.

Anyone ordered from Costco? Not had anything since the order confirmation email. On my account it still says processing. Worried it may not arrive tomorrow.

I had a similar experience. Had to ring them 3 times as they kept giving me the wrong number. Finally managed to get through to them on Monday and they refunded me yesterday. Will never deal with them again.
