I really don't know. I checked out for a kiosk, and it's in my 'orders' as 'Awaiting', for the price they originally quoted (£470).
Although I've read some reviews on YouTube and they're not complimentary on the Kiosk experience!
No email from O2 or change on order status page, but DPD now have my O2 iphone for delivery tomorrow.
I bought a Mac mini M2 last week, BTO with 16GB RAM and a 512GB hard drive. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday by UPS to the UPS drop-off point round the corner from me. I received a message to say 'unable to deliver'. It turned out the driver refused to leave the package at the official UPS drop-off point becuase the guy behind the counter had no personal ID on him. Apple had never heard of this, but UPS customer service insisted ID must be seen. I was going round in circles. In the end it was delivered on Monday. UPS do not deliver anything apart from medicines at the weekend. Apple gave me £70 as a goodwill gesture.
Hi everybody I have a quick question.
I have preordered (and already paid) for pickup at Apple Store at Regent Street a 15PM. I chose the pick-up for Sunday at around 15:00 and designated a friend to pick it up for me, but he has fallen ill and it is unclear if he will be able to go.
I am flying to Greece for some sun tomorrow early morning and will be back on Thursday. In case my friend cannot pick it up for me on Sunday 24th, my understanding is the Apple Store will hold it for 7 days, which means I could pick it up on the 28th with no issues.
Does anyone have any experience with this that could shed some light?

Anyone who ordered through the Apple Store and had theirs dispatch through DPD, gotten their tracking status updated from the “order details received” to collected/ “we have the parcel” yet?
This is correct. It’ll be held for 7 days so you can collect when you return.
Just been into EE and changed my eSIM back to a physical SIM. Really can't be @rsed with all the hassle of getting a new eSIM working. Going back to old-skool with a paperclip and moving the SIM over when I get my 15 Pro Max tomorrow.
Thankfully I can now get a Voda eSIM from work, so that meant I could ditch the physical Voda SIM that was previously tying up the SIM slot.

Awesome! May I ask if you had this situation before? I ask this because the info on the Apple page under “View pick-up policy” is very vague as they don’t specify any number of days, which is not useful at all.

on the check-in email it says "we will hold your order for 7 days"

Not yet. Can be a bit random on a store by store basis with timings. I thought they usually came after store closing (8pm in my case)

Looks like they are starting to track at Hinckley now though from what others have said so it will probably update soon.
Preordered directly with apple, and it was due for delivery tomorrow. I’ve just got a DHL notification that they have my parcel, but it says estimated delivery Monday!! Can anyone advise is this normal practice for DHL to over-estimate, or am I not getting it tomorrow now? The apple site still says delivery tomorrow; I’m due to sell my old iPhone over the weekend so I’m really disappointed.
It should still arrive tomorrow. I'm based in NI and it says Monday every year, but always goes out for delivery on Friday morning.
