Don't work for JETech by any chance, do you?
Lmao I just find it bizarre people are paying £26-40 for a single screen protector but hey we're in a thread where people are dropping hundreds or £1,000+ so what does it matter?

You can find plenty of other brands. They are all basically the same thing. There's no reason to spend that much money for a piece of glass. You're getting ripped off.

Collections: I haven’t been charged yet and I got the email saying about pick up but the status is still processing. Is this normal?

Well, my iCloud backup worked but I've had to re-authenticate all my cards in Wallet and I've had to re-confirm my identity in all my banking apps. One of them wanted a photo of my ID and a selfie...

Don't get wrong, I know security is important, but some of it felt over the top considering the security to get to that point.

The in store Apple ones that cost £35 do come with a 2 year guarantee. If they break, come off or even if you fancy a new one… you can and the Apple Store will fit the new one that Belkin post out to you for free.

My status hasn’t changed to ready to pick up yet, my slot is less than 45 mins lol is this also okay?
I don't know. Go into your order and just make sure there is no warnings about incorrect payment details. Did you authorise the payment through your bank?

Yes, it was pending charge from preorder then it dropped a day or so ago and nothing else since.
Panic over, just checked and saw my payment had cleared

EE has absolutely categorically shafted hundreds if not thousands of PM customers. Clowns.

I suppose that's not bad... I didn't know about that. I can slap on a screen protector no problem but I still panic every time and I can see why some people would want Apple to do it for them.

If you have a time then still go to the store to pick it up even if you don't get an email saying it's ready. Maybe it will get charged once you pick it up?? They should be able to help you out in store. Your iPhone will be in there somewhere and they will probably go find it for you.

Yesssss!

I phoned EE to ask about getting an eSIM (I have a physical one) the bloke on the phone said that the eSIM was for a 2nd number and what number did I want. I wanted my existing number on there, instead of on the physical SIM and he said that couldn't be done. So I have stuck with my physical one.
So, I set up my new 15 Pro, and lo and behold, an eSIM transferred across. With my number, and it works. Weird - the EE rep didn't know what he was talking about...

30 mins past pickup time, still in processing stage without email update and original pickup time also missing now.

Money left my account yesterday. So surely Apple have a phone set aside for me right?

The phone is a gift, so will be very annoyed if I have to travel to Central London just to collect again if it is delayed.
