The 15 Pro doesn’t come off too well in this drop test, seems to be a lot durable than the 14 Pro 😳
Granted these drop tests are to the extreme compared to your average accidental drop but still, glad mines going in a case.

Yes, that’s the one. I’m starting to think I did something wrong seeing other people are happy with them and had perfect application.

All I did was remove the factory protection from the iphone's screen, locate the orange frame with protector installed onto the iphone, made sure it was pushed down onto the iphone, then gently gripped both sides of the frame, then pulled the tab all the way out & waited for all the air to disappear from under the glass protector, then removed the frame.
I then used the provided tool to push the air out from the edges & that was it done, perfect position on the screen.

How if doing an iPhone to iPhone transfer? Do you have to setup new iPhone as a “new” iPhone. Update it, then reset it, then do a transfer?

Nothing.

I was there are 14:10 when my slot was 14:15 - 14:30 and the woman was more than happy to give me my iPhone until I said I forgot my ID. Asked her if I could come back later once I went home and got it and she said yeah no problem.

Got back to the store about just after 15:00 and the guy who was helping me didn't even ask my time slot. I did say that I had come down earlier and that's why I was late but he didn't care.

Anyway you have 7 days to pick it up.

I didn't spot this point until I'd started the transfer. But the 15PM said "must update O/S first before transferring data" and so I let it, I'm assuming that was the 17.0.2 update.

Granted these drop tests are to the extreme compared to your average accidental drop but still, glad mines going in a case.

The type of glass on both is the same, it's just chance based on the exact way the thing lands as to whether it breaks or not.

Ah ok, so you can start the transfer iPhone to iPhone, but during the transfer there’s an option asking to update?

I got the option right at the start "to transfer your old iPhone, you must update blah blah". When it finished updating I had to restart the transfer (except for the esim which happened first)

Thanks for this, it's been surprisingly hard to get real life photos of the Natural Titanium in both of these cases. As has been said many times the Clay looks very different to the website (more like the Taupe colour).

Which do you prefer between the two cases?

Same for me on the Isle of Man. However it should arrive at the depot here later tonight/tomorrow morning which means I’ll be able to go collect it in the morning from the depot rather than wait until Monday for delivery.

Money left my account yesterday. So surely Apple have a phone set aside for me right?

The phone is a gift, so will be very annoyed if I have to travel to Central London just to collect again if it is delayed.

Well my phone arrived from DPD two hours earlier than expected. All set up and waiting on the phone to EE to get my sim plan transferred from my old watch to my new one…..this may take a while 🙂

Anyone tried the usbc cable that came in the box? Mine wobbles a bit in the iPhone usbc port and not secure like with a lightning cable. Good job I’m buying a MagSafe nightstand or else it would drive me mad.

No because what’s stopping you from damaging the iPhone in the 60 days? Also AppleCare is discounted when taking out the 0% Barclays finance.

Can you not call the Store? I think you'll go through a switchboard first but they can put you through to the store. I've done this in the past.

Thanks, will do some shopping and eating then check again in couple of hours. Will give them a call if nothing changes then as the other member suggested.
