Mujjo leather case user here (when I’m not caseless).

Unlike others, the action button on the phone has a button on the case, so they actually bothered to adapt to the phone, rather than just leaving it as a hole as per previous phones.

I would like to get AppleCare on my iPhone PM delivery due 2-9 October, I wondered when it will start though as it seems to be when you pay for it rather than on delivery of phone, anyone know if this is right. I don't want to pay and then my phone doesn't arrive until the 9th as I will lose 2 weeks, even more had I bought it when I ordered on the 15th, I didn't add AppleCare then as I wanted to read up about it. I'm thinking I may need to wait until it starts the delivery process.

Just buy it when it arrives - you have 60(?) days to activate AppleCare from when you get the device (can’t remember if it’s receive or activate).

And yes, if you buy AppleCare at the point of purchase, it’s activated when they dispatch IIRC. A bit of annoying implementation really - and I was told by a CS rep that if you cancel, you can’t take it out again on the same product.

Thanks, I am probably best to get it directly it arrives then.

Did you check at 6am or later? I woke up at 620 and nothing was there! It may be through out the day. I thought it would be throughout the day but an Apple employee told me 6am everyday.
Every year the stock trickles store by store across the country during the morning. Often soon before or soon after the store opens

Via the Apple reservations website. Check stock daily / frequently to get a device sooner than shipping dates :)
I’m still stuck at PfS, 2.5 days and counting.

I wouldn’t post video of the driver for his privacy but below is the package I got:

No reason for me to make it up. Just thought I’d share my horrible experience.

Also the place that has stock is a AO subsidiary not AO.com, mobile phones direct. Anyone have good experience with them?
I must say, the idea to film the opening with the driver is pure genius. 🫡

I mean, there’s no way anyone should have to do that, but you just saved yourself a whole world of pain right there.

I've taken the plunge and decided to upgrade to the new iPhone 15PM (my last one being the iPhone 5) - fully immersing myself in the Apple ecosystem. Unfortunately, I missed the boat on preordering, and like some of you mentioned earlier, I'm not exactly thrilled about waiting until the end of October to get my hands on one.

I spent last night refreshing the page and managed to spot a few elusive 15PM models, but they disappeared right before I could complete the checkout - quite frustrating, to say the least!

For those who've been in the Apple loop for a while, is this the usual drill every year? Do those of us who don't snag a pre-order have to resort to scouring the Apple website like treasure hunters in search of new stock? And just how long does this frenzy tend to last?

I get ya.

I see it from their side as well. They offer a unique service with those kiosks so business side of things, why not try your luck?

They’ll prob know that they will get people that think “ah, I’ll just take it, can’t be arsed with messing around” and they know they’ll get people like me who’ll just decline and try again
Exactly this, it’s clearly their business model (like CEX).

Amazon did have a bit of this happening and started sending codes for expensive things, though I think this was to make it harder for the customer to get a refund. I am very wary of buying expensive things from there for this reason. Husband bought a very expensive camera lens from there, that wasn't for sale anywhere else and opened it at the doorstep, just incase there was a cheap book in the package instead.

I’ve just purchased AC+ for my iPad Pro M1, with 2 days to spare.

I did it all from Settings on the iPad, took about 60 seconds.
