View attachment 2281290 Delivery day for me today 😀. Expecting to be informed of my 1hr delivery slot from DPD at 11:00am (oh the joy of living in Scottish Highlands). Have the accessories above. First time with Apple clear case. Also first time with Pro Max (upgrading from 13 Pro) so looking forward to the larger phone.

Have seen on here in earlier post about Xtremeskins. Seriously thinking about ordering clear Matt for my natural titanium PM and returning Apple MagSafe clear case. Advice on this would be greatly appreciated please. 🙏
How does the clear case feel in the hand? I had one for my iPhone 12 when they launched but while it looked and felt lovely it was just too slippy in the hand so I returned it and got a silicon case from Amazon.

Just back from the Bluewater store with my 512GB NT Pro Max.

There was a guy there waiting for the manager, he had reservations for 18 iPhones via the iUP but paying in cash, he walked out with two bags worth of iPhones, listening to the conversation, he "knew" the manager - how is it possible to reserve 18 iPhones? They ranged from 128GB to 512GB.They were bringing him 3 out at a time and the manager said he'll get another member of staff to help so it "doesn't look suspicious".
I snagged a IUP reservation this morning for a 15 Pro. As I was waiting in the Store there was a mother and daughter waiting at the next table up, the daughter complaining loudly to various staff about the waiting time. Another staff member then came out and told them her orders had been cancelled because her husband had been in already this morning buying iPhones and they were restricting them to two per household (on IUP I think, they said she could buy more for cash/non-IUP). They apologised but said her husband should have told her and everyone had to abide by the same rules. They debated this for about 15 mins and then left empty-handed.

No idea how the Store staff knew these women were related to the other customer. Maybe they had their accounts linked in family sharing or something, or they matched names and addresses?

On the plus side I suspect it may have been one of their cancelled orders which popped in the app and which I grabbed.

Picture the scene. It’s September 22nd, new iPhone day. I get up extra early, drive the 50 miles to Cambridge to pick my my iPhone upgrade program reservation. A nice new 15 pro max in natural titanium. I park up and get to the store all excited. I check in, and meet my specialist, he gets the phone brought to us. I think to myself, the box looks a little small. Anyway, we start the process, and he says, “How come you’ve gone for a Pro this year and not a pro max?”. I say, “I haven't” He says this is a pro. Guess which numb nuts reserved the wrong phone? That’s right, this plonker. I feel the colour drain out of me and drag myself back to the car for what seemed a longer journey than the one here. I decided to login to my EE account it shows, 28 day availability on all devices. However it says if you login and upgrade it can be with you in 24 hours. Eureka, I quickly place my order before someone else’s nabs it and smugly make my way home. I get my new upgrade documents emailed and can’t believe my luck. It gets to this morning and no despatch email. I login to my EE account again, and notice my contract has reverted back to the old one. I give them a call. “We have no stock, we don’t have any stock when you ordered” EE are telling more lies that that dude from The Lies of P. Big Hairy Balls I loudly exclaim. Anywhere I open the apple app, stick one in my basket, and check availability nothing, in my closest 12 stores. Bobbins. I then trawl through this very forum, get to the last page of the thread and think, I’ll just have another look. Lo and behold there’s one in Milton Keynes, I quickly reserve it, checking 8 different times so I don’t make a huge cock up. I drive the hour and a half to MK, (who I have now forgiven for inventing a new football team) and pick her up, and wow, she’s a beauty. Currently typing this on my iPhone 15 Pro Max Titanium, all 512 GB’s of her. The moral of the story is, check availability, they are out there!

I’m also looking for a strong clear case to show off my iphone? Any suggestions?
I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagFit Case [Military Grade Shockproof] [Long Lasting Clarity] MagSafe Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro - White https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C5S8LX7X and really like it. Depends on if you want MagSafe or not though. Ditch the MagSafe and you can go completely clear back, but I really like MagSafe and don't have an issue with the circle etc.

I am suffering from battery drain so I think I may have a defective unit. I lose 5% of battery overnight, which is too much, especially when I lost at most 1% when I had the 14PM.
Do you lose any battery % overnight?
I’ve only had my 15 pro for 1 night so far. Went to bed with it fully charged, and it was still 100% in the morning (to my suprise!)

Mine arrived today :) It could have arrived yesterday, but I had to rearrange due to working from the office. Today a well-timed work from home day meant I could take delivery.

Just installed Torras GlassGo on the iPhone 15 Pro. It was a breeze to install. It’s pricey but the fit and finish is perfect. I’m very satisfied with it.

Also got the black Apple silicone case. It goes really well with the Black Titanium colour of my regular Pro.

Thumbs up all around.

Oh well, it’s not like it’s the longest wait…I actually didn’t realise next Monday was the 2nd, so with a bit of luck we might start seeing the phones middle of the week!

I don’t think you can. You can set your own for the app background, but you can’t set your own lock screen paper and keep Apple’s for the app background. You can set up a blank home page and do a screen shot of the Apple wallpaper and use that. You’ll obviously lose any animation. I suspect this is why Apple doesn’t allow it as they want people to use them as a pair.

Sorry. Forgot to quote the message I was replying to.

MM have been good to me. I stumbled across a saved quote on the App from last January and it was £850. Was able to renew it and save it for the past few months and today they paid in full. 14PM 256 that was in pristine condition
How do you actually do this? I've always just repeatedly requested quotes leading up to launch to give myself as much of their usual 21 days as possible.

My only question to you after reading that saga (and please don’t take this the wrong way, I’m purely curious) — why didn’t you pre-order? Why go through this ordeal post-launch?

The offered me £635 instead of the £745 of the quote (phone was pristine).

I got it back and sent it to Twig, who paid me the £792 they quoted initially.

I keep hoping for that but my faith is wavering. Preordered 35 mins after it opened (only because of all the site issues) and it feels like a punishment going through Apple! I saw them on Very still available for 22/09 and I stuck with Apple and now I don’t know why 😭
