That is correct for photos, for music only some playlists are downloaded for my kids on car journeys in case we have bad signal.
Surely they don’t need the band? I’ve never traded in a Watch with the band… (not used MM though)

You could download a picture of the wallpaper (or screenshot) to your photos. From there you can use any picture you want for home or lock screen.
After all the Amazon shenanigans with missing iPhones and contemplating long 15 Pro Max lead times etc. Finally, settled with the regular 15 Pro.

Why is there always more stock available through IUP on the app store than just buying on the app store? Is it just to try and get people locked in to the upgrade programme? I dont get it, as you can reserve through IUP then just pay in full? 🤔

Set up and transferred everything to my new iPhone 15PM yesterday, from my iPhone 13PM.
Ive passed the setup phase and have now entered the 'meh, more of the same' phase.
Now I have to set up all the families phones as the handsets are passed down the chain, leaving me with a spare XS! Sigh!

Your better bet is to check Apple stock inventory early am each day for store reserve & collection local to you.
New 15 Pro Max stock is already appearing this week. Once you've reserved you can cancel your online order. Or just ask Apple to cancel your online order once you've collected in-store.
It was just really odd. The guy knew the manager, as he specifically waited for him for nearly 45 minutes (I was doing a restore). When the manager arrived, he was asking after his family and general friend like chit chat. Then the manager proceeds to get him two Mac carry bags and requested 3 iPhones at a time via the runners. The guy was paying on AMEX. The manager said how many in total this time, the guy responded 18.
No, the standard App Store only shows stock when the levels are >10 units in that config - typically following a delivery. Whereas the iUP stock shows stock even if there's only 1 unit available. This typically comes from cancellations hence the odd ones popping up throughout the day. I was told if a reservation is not collected within 3 hours from the window, then it automatically becomes available again as they are unpaid reservations. Paid reservations are kept for 7 days.
I’d report that to Apple. I thought we were long past the launch scalpers phase.
