I know prices will have dropped, I’ve done this many a time. I had almost £800 for my 14PM last year and this year I'm only being quoted £683 with over a month to go :(

Just seems a lot lower than usual.
Ah, you mean the 15PM offers this year are less than the 14PM offers last year...I see now ;)

Shop around...or use FB Marketplace/eBay/Gumtree/etc

This

I never use trade in; the trade-in prices are always a joke / low-ball

Never had any issue selling via eBay, more so when their 80% off selling fees offer is up & running and using eBay's own managed payments, which is much more secure than PayPal (ie I'll never use PayPal etc) - either eBay Managed Payments or bank transfer upon collection

Anybody on the UK iPhone annual program? how does it work exactly? I hear the application is done in store but how is the reservation work? How do you know you will be approved and when do you go in store? Guessing on launch day?

For those of you who got the 15 Pro Max on contract, how much do you pay monthly?
I feel like the iPhone contracts are crazy expensive these days!

Not helpful I know, but this is why I buy mine outright and stick to SIM only... Contract prices are getting daft now

Although EE have made me a stupid offer to upgrade next month; any phone for £56 a month!

Just waiting to see what's what this time next month and then go from there; think I'll probably stick with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold to be honest... Can't see what the 16PM is going to bring to the table more than the 15PM etc

That's a great offer because it includes data and mins right?
If you were to buy the iPhone 15 Pro Max on 0% Barclays finance from Apple, I think its around £55 a month, and that's just for the phone so the EE deal is great.

true

great deal and when I look on my EE sims the prices are stupid. they are like £90 to £108 a month if I was to upgrade now.

Bloody hell; thats bonkers!

Just looked at the offer they've sent me for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, as an example and it's £29 and £27 monthly

No idea what it'll be for the iPhone 16 when they come out...

But all in, that's hell of a deal for the new Pro Fold

I have 3 contracts with them (x2 SIM only and x1 smart watch monthly eSIM etc) - no devices so far

Are you sure?

Looking at their site, the cheapest Pixel 9 Pro Fold deal is £30 up-front, £34.42/month device cost (36 months) and £27/month 25GB data (24 months). So, if your deal is correct, they're giving you the handset for a total of £30, which is a saving of £1,239.12 (i.e. £34.42 * 36) :/

You sure there's no monthly device cost with your deal?

If it's correct, you could take them up on their offer, sell the unused phone for £1,500 (not unreasonable, since list price is £1,749), pay off the £27 * 24 month airtime contract in full, and still be £852 up...

I am guessing you are not going to upgrade with them?
I think everybody is going to go the sim free route or get the phone on 0% finance.
I wonder if people actually take out the ridiculous £90 contracts for the iPhone with EE? I mean can people really be that stupid to pay £100 a month for a phone contract?

I think EE have changed their contracts now and are following Vodafone and O2, where the phone and sim plan are separate meaning you have two direct debits. I think the contracts are longer though (36 months), where they were always 24 months.

Yes positive; as said this is an offer the account manager has sent me a month ago and it's open ended as it stands

I've been with EE for years (business (which has now gone under) and no personal... Been with them since 2014 and recently they've become very friendly 😂

TBH if I were to go for the new iPhone (if the offers the same) I'd more than likely sell that on; but if I go for the 9 Pro Fold; I'll be keeping that and selling my Pixel Fold

If I go for it...

This is why for years now I've bought them outright and when I've sold them on, I've done well. Upgraded to my next mobile with a few £hundred on top, if that :)

I’m might be doing the iPhone upgrade programme this year. Never done it before though. Hear you won’t know if you get approved until you’re on store which is risky if you get rejected. Not that I should but you need know

So I may buy buy free and try the upgrade programme and if it’s not rejected I will maybe return the phone I’ve bought will see

Sold my 256GB 15PM for £900 on eBay last week (it was only a few months old + a few decent cases (Otterbox/UAG etc) - they're still well sought after
Wow I may look at doing it on eBay now then if you can get that much

Comparison sites are showing £660

Exactly... Trade in values are crap currently

Immaculate/as new 15PMs still in warranty/extended warranty and strong battery % will always sell well...

Got £900 for my 15PM and £600 for my AWU2

Bought a 512GB S24U on the back of that via Samsung and got their £300 cash back offer as well 😂 and 5% off ordering via their app, plus £300 trade in for an older Samsung I had in my office drawer!

Couldn't grumble with that

I'm on the other side of these deals, looking for a 15 Pro as upgrade on my 12 Pro while I wait on the 17. Unsure about going Max.

Did you do an auction on eBay or just put a price out there?
