Deffo not wrong there, don’t even go there. After looking at all those hands on you linked I almost wanted to but then just thought don’t do it. 😅
They were fab last year. I was sat on the top of an open tour bus round Belfast converting pre pre order to normal order. No problems.
Love Pitaka but HATE the fingerprints! Yes I know you can wipe clean but drives me nuts!
I was declined also on the App then I tried in the wife’s name and it worked fine. I think it can be random sometimes and how fast you flick through the T&Cs. Did it slowly 2nd time and went straight through. I also had a Barclay’s loan from last year so should have been no issues
Forgive my basic question here but I’m guessing…
If I applied £1000 worth of gift cards on this part of the pre order page, when it comes to buying on Friday I’d essentially open up my saved pre order, double click the side button for Apple Pay and it would ‘theoretically’ feel no different to buying it as if the gift cards were not applied?
And leave me with £1 that cost me 95p in my apple balance

That's good to know, thank you. I can get some good discounts on the gift cards, so considering that as an alternative to Currys until someone can advice me what Currys pre-order experience typically is like
at least there's no esim faff to worry about this year
Ah…. I did this slightly differently, so have already converted gift cards to my Apple account balance and it’s from there that payment will be taken. But yeah it’s an option on the same page when you have a balance in place
mine was like that too.. I did a clean install on the new phone and my storage went down.. assume it offloaded a ton of photos I don't look at.

the pre-pre doesn't mean you've got a launch day phone.. you still need to be on at 1pm and complete order before stocks drop
