Currently using a launch day iPhone 11 64GB. Battery health is down to 79% and I’ve only got 1 GB storage free. I’ve been wanting to get a 16 Pro 256 from my local Apple Store (Leicester) but so far I’ve only seen that they briefly had stock in the week when I could t get over there. I’ve just seen that Amazon have stock with delivery tomorrow. If I order from Amazon can purchase Apple care after it’s been delivered or do they have to be purchased together?

You have 60 days from when you setup your new iPhone to add AppleCare+ to it, you’ll find it in the settings of the phone. No need to purchase it with the phone at the time of ordering

Apple is showing stock in the mornings. Apple employee told me to check stock before they open and I managed to pick-up my 16PM 256 Black on Friday! Compared to the 14PM it feels like a good upgrade.

I'd be careful with Amazon; on PrimeDay I ordered AirPods Pro 2, and received 2 bottles of kids medicine valued at £10. I'm not ordering anything valuable from Amazon again.

That’s one thing I’m cautious about. Someone in the chain sees that it requires a code and therefore knows it’s expensive. Did you get it sorted?

For those of you who have the Pro Max, do you find it too big? I still don't know which one to buy my sister, the Pro or the Pro Max. I know the better battery and bigger screen is great, but I feel the size (and it's even bigger than the 15 Pro Max) now will be too big!

Not yet, still on the process of “return”, someone will pick up the medicine tomorrow, so Amazon start the refund process.

Anyone on the iPhone upgrade programme with a delivery date for their reservation between 8th - 15th have anything through yet? They're usually pretty good in getting them there a couple of days from the first date but this time it's been longer!

Or maybe I'm impatient

Stock is definitely trickling through. There were stocks of pro Max’s in Bristol at both branches, Bath, Southampton, Redding which seemed to appear for, three days running although they were snapped up quickly.

I was told to check at 6am in the mornings online by the local Apple Store for new stock.

I second that about Amazon about not ordering anything valuable/expenseive. Going off reddit reviews, all seems good until you don't receive the item (iPhone) or worse still, you receive something else in instead of the item (iPhone).

I gather though that if it's "Shipped and sold by Amazon" then you more likely to get faster refunds with less hassle, however, I've no experience with this, I'm just going off reddit reviews.

To be honest the difference in size between the 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max is negligible and you can’t really tell nor does it make it more cumbersome or uncomfortable. As for whether your Sister will prefer the Pro or Pro Max only she can say.

I had no problems, but a sympathetic courier who waited for me to open the box in full view of one of my cameras... I'd heard of a lot of problems, but it was absolutely fine.

I’ve decided to play it safe and wait until Leicester get stock, then I’ll make the trip after work to collect. Just have to keep checking

There's been alot of 256GB Pro Max's and some 512GB Pro Max's available yesterday and today but still no 1TB Pro Max's available...

Regarding the 6am stock in Apple, I found mine around 9:50-10:00am; it was changing a lot before opening time. The Apple employee told me to check before they open, as stock gets updated

The Amazon situation, my AirPods Pro 2 were sold and dispatched by Amazon, but when the problem occur, customer services told me it was incorrect, it was through a 3rd party; which is weird, because, besides Amazon, I don't see who else would sell AirPods and child's cough syrup! 😂
