Just want to say, thank you for the recommendation, they accepted my 14 Pro 256GB for £415, granted I used the ‘Poor’ grading option on their website and took a reduced price.

Yes I probably could of got a bit more elsewhere if I say I sold it privately, eBay wouldn’t of been worth it since their final value fees take the piss (12.8%) and I would of had to pay for P&P as well the small possibility of a non-genuine buyer.

I know this may not be the right place to ask, but since i have had my new 16 pro max it doesnt suggest my car journies any more when it connects to my car. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get this working again. I have got precise location switched on. TIA
 
So, idiot here has spilled an entire can of Pepsi max all over her brand new 16 pro max.

Anyone know if the genius bars have replacement phones yet? Seems to be okay right now, but would like an idea if it's worth making a genius bar appointment if it starts to act strange.

Run it under normal water and dry it mate, should be fine.

I was stunned (as someone who works in tech) at how seamless the transition was to eSIM. I guess someone has driven people to get their act together. I had an absolute nightmare when I bought my Watch Ultra and try to transfer the eSIM over (let alone do a physical SIM).

The biggest thing was not having to mess around with the SIM ejector pin.

I was even more stunned after opening my sim tray on the existing phone to eject the sim, only to find that there wasn’t one there!

Can’t even remember setting up eSIM last time 😂 but that process of transferring to a new phone is awesome.

So my Native union case showed up and I have to say I’m not so impressed. The buttons are ok - but different from the 13 pro max ones (bottom). The rigidity of the case means the camera control is hard to use.

Does anyone keep having my problems with camera app crashing and searching not working quite right? I’m trying to work out if it’s the phone or IOS

Also installed a Mothka metal camera ring protector, similar to the Ringke one I had fitted on my previous 15PM and it fits perfectly

I have to ask from the photos, have you got a matte screen protector on yours?

Edit in my haste I see it's not with the pictures added further in the thread! Damn! I just miss a matte screen protector

Dodgy as ****. Fake reviews. Only buy from there if you are willing to lose whatever you are spending.

My 16PM arrived this morning. I have the Torras screen protector to fit but no sign of my Ryan London Case or Pouch. So will be going naked with this phone.

Why stress the fact that the phones are genuine, unopened & unused ??? Should’nt they be 🤷🏻‍♀️…classic red flag! Stick to worry-free JL & Apple I’d say

My 16 Pro Max in black arrived this morning. Hilariously for something I was so excited about it feels IDENTICAL to the 15 Pro Max. As in (aside from the camera button which you wouldn't even notice if you didn't know about) there feels like there is absolutely no difference at all unless you have them side by side.

said it before the excitement is more in pre ordering and waiting for it to arrive than when you use it.

Honestly a few days in now, aside from a much improved battery life over my 13PM, I'm not seeing a great deal of difference in normal use. Not taken a load of photos yet to notice much difference either. Dynamic Island is OK, as is not needing a separate cable any more for my phone, but I'm a little underwhelmed!

I agree. That wording of the description immediately rings alarm bells and flags up the possible suspect nature of their site. I personally wouldn’t risk buying from them. It’s better to pay a little more and have the peace of mind reputable and well know retailers give you.
