Those fortunate to have there devices already how are you finding it? The 16Plus is really nice to use compared to the 13Pro, the edges and weight feel much better in hand. Battery life is phenomenal. I’m really impressed by the 16 series tbh!
I really like camera control. As someone who did a degree in photography and taught it for years it actually feels a bit more like a camera rather than a phone nowIve gone from the 15PM to the 16PM and I honestly wish I hadn't bothered.
Camera control is really fiddly and I'm yet to be convinced. Maybe the AI stuff will make use of it better.
Feels like it should have been called the 15S.
One big problem sorted now onto the next one. Finally got my phone today after the UPS code fiasco, I’ve set it up once but it wasn’t pulling down my apps from the App Store so I’ve been advised to restore from a backup.
I thought Apple was meant to “just work”
All sorted. All I need now is my wife to log me back into Amazon prime 😂One big problem sorted now onto the next one.
I always restore mine from the latest iCloud backup, never failed me yet.
Hoping my 8th -14th prepares to ship tomorrow!
Nope - quicker than moving the physical simBut it is annoying if you change phones a lot.
I was stunned (as someone who works in tech) at how seamless the transition was to eSIM. I guess someone has driven people to get their act together. I had an absolute nightmare when I bought my Watch Ultra and try to transfer the eSIM over (let alone do a physical SIM).Same here. I didn’t even realise I had eSIM until sorting out my new 16 Pro today. It just transferred it in seconds.
This is clearly the future.
I see you finally got your Iphone lol.I put one of the spigen covers on and then I’ve put a magnetic USB-C charge adapter in the bottom so it doesn’t get full of gak

Did this last year for the first time, would recommend it. When it's fitted well it's almost unnoticeable apart from being able to feel the raised edges. The warranty is worth it, I'm about to get my third replacement. The first one had a tiny red mark on the protector which the Apple Store replaced without quibble, the second and third developed bubbles near the corners after a few months each and required warranty claims to Belkin (so you need to wait for a replacement to be sent to you from Belkin, then take it into an Apple Store for application). Plus the Apple Store messed up the application a couple of times, each time they just binned it and got another fresh out from their stock and re-applied it without complaint. So really I'm on my sixth or seventh screen protector all for the one original price (which you can also use EPP on if you have it).If you have an Apple store nearby go there and have them use the machine to install a Belkin screen protector. You have to buy it at the store as it is packaged for machine application.
I have never been able to install a screen protector without bubbles so always have Apple do it.
Over 24 months? Would make the sim plan under £10/month. Seems like a good deal for unlimited data on EEDo you think paying £68 a month for the 512GB 16 Pro Max is a good deal with EE? They are offering unlimited everything...
If it’s over 24 months it’s a good deal, I similarly took the 512GB 16 pro from EE for £63 a month so I’m guessing the extra fiver a month is the difference between Pro & Pro Max.Do you think paying £68 a month for the 512GB 16 Pro Max is a good deal with EE?
