So after having my Barclays finance approved then being on hold for the rest of the day I now find my order has been cancelled without explanation 🤬

How did you find out it was cancelled? I too got finance approved but the apple website timed out and I got no confirmation, but Barclays saying it went through and gave me order no.

Why do you prefer going to the store than delivery?

I know if I choose store pickup I’m going to get my phone on the day. With delivery there is no 100% guarantee and one of a number of things could go wrong and I may not get my phone on the day. Especially when it’s an expensive item that has to be signed for. Plus I have to work on Friday too and won’t be home so I can’t guarantee someone will be at home to take delivery.

First time im going back to a pro model since the iPhone 11 pro max.

I wasn't 100% happy not long after I owned the 14 plus but it seed me through 2 years.

Very excited to go back to a pro max again for the next 3 or 4 years and looking forward to the natural titanium.

I was annoyed I sold my ultra 2 only to see them not upgrade it apart from colour but I can't not have one as I love the watch and fitness features

Series 10 well jet black has sold me and I will use this one for work and occasions where it will look better for. Ultra for all fitness and sleep tracking

Nope. Got it about a week after launch. Battery was over spec from factory and I’m a light user.

Yes there was, but there is a similar deal on mobiles.co.uk but they only seem to deal with Vodafone and ID Mobile. I’ve been on Vodafone for years though so don’t mind that.

Went for Pro black titanium but for the first time ever it’ll be going straight in a case when it arrives on 20th. The iPhone 15PM is the first time I’ve had a noticeable (you can feel it) scratch on a phone screen and my first mobile was the Nokia 5110 so the 16P will be in a full case from day 1

I presume you went case less or was late adding the case, hence the deep scratch?

I'm holding off ordering the 16 pro models.

It seems all the iPhone 15 models were prone to scratches, especially micro scratches and I'm hoping the new updated glass on the 16 pro's somewhat combats this though I have my doubts. I just don't prefer screen protectors (or even cases for that matter).

Then yesterday on pre-order day I couldn't find any details of my initial pre order on Apples website so I had to start a fresh Barclays application which went through OK.

Not sure if this effects credit rating?

Yeah.. In between changing from one screen to the next it slipped by that much. It is what it is. I normally always collect from store but I’m not scheduled to be working next Friday so went for delivery.

Irony is I’m on schedule to be working from the 25th onwards 😂😂

Credit worthiness. We don’t have a rating in the UK.

If Barclays put 2 hard searches down they will stay on your credit report for a year and will be visible to other lenders for six months. This may affect your ability to borrow / take out other financing for a short while.

Your credit rating of, I don’t know, say 755 off the top of my head, nobody will see other than you.

Went to reserve my iPhone upgrade programme upgrade... Chose my specification etc, after tapping reserve the page I got said "your new will be here soon"

No emails or reservations showing.... Great

I was scrolling through Apple’s page and was able to snag a 16PM in Desert Titanium for pickup on Friday at Apple Battersea. They are loading new stock 🤗

Yeah, I’m doing store pick up for the first time in years as well. I’m trading my 15 Pro Max in at the same time. The thing is that if I do a delivery, then I have to send my old phone off a week or so later and I’ve heard a few stories about apples third-party that process the trade in phones. As my 15 Pro Max is in mint condition, there can be no dispute if I’m trading it in at the Apple Store
