Was just at ordering stage when got distracted by an email that got invited to get Oasis pre-sale tickets, by the time I looked back the one I wanted had gone, from release date delivery. Swings and roundabouts. Will try with Amazon when they have stock back. Can still go through EE but have no idea how they are with honouring release date delivery. Want the Desert Titanium 256. Really want to pay outright in five payments from Amazon as have a cheap contract with Three.
I hope you didn’t look back in anger.

If you don’t manage to get the phone, stop crying your heart out.

Anytime Upgrade DOES still exist within EE, people on the EE forums have confirmed.
But it's only available on NON-Flex plans and you must request it. Agent I dealt with said he applied it onto my account.

Anyone else managed to get the Anytime Upgrade deal for the 16s?

Wonder why they’ve effectively “hidden” it unless a customer requests?

I was "technically" a non-Flex customer until a couple of months ago - am currently 12 mos. into a 24 mo. SIMO agreement but if I wanted to upgrade only their former combined handset and mobile tariffs were available to me.

If I were to upgrade today (won't be as I'm happy with my 15PM) then I'd be able to order a handset on a Flex plan.

Ok folks, we have a good buy price from Music Magpie and it was locked in on 02.09.24

They give 21 days as a lock in, and we really need our phones up till the 19th.

Has anyone posted their phones just a few days before the offer expires and they have honoured it?

They state to give 7 days, which means sending the phones today…which we just can’t do…

’Please allow 7 days for this to arrive. Once your items have arrived we will process your order as soon as possible’

If you have proof it was received by them with the tracking stamped on the 20th, will the clock then be stopped?

Went for Pro black titanium but for the first time ever it’ll be going straight in a case when it arrives on 20th. The iPhone 15PM is the first time I’ve had a noticeable (you can feel it) scratch on a phone screen and my first mobile was the Nokia 5110 so the 16P will be in a full case from day 1

I’ve sold to them a couple of times and run past the offer date … I contacted them just before and they extended by 7 days. Always had a good experience as well.

I’m sending mine Royal Mail Special Delivery - £7.49 but I’m sure it’s less than MM will knock off the value for it being late!

2x iPhone 16 Pro Black Titanium, 128GB Order confirmation at 13:02 and currently preparing for dispatch 🥳 I still miss the days of tracking them all the way from China. Fully expecting no movement on them until Thursday next week. Might nip to Syncreon down the road and ask for them early 🤣

Managed to finally accept my contract and finish the Switch Up about an hour ago, said I'll be getting delivery on the 20th so can't complain but what a joke that was. Website was up 10 minutes early for the 14 PM and I breezed through!
Mine is now saying my phone isn’t eligible for switch up. It’s a poor effort by O2 again

I started refreshing the web site and opening and closing the app at 12.55 today hoping I would get in early after 1pm hit. As it happened come 1.04pm the app still wasn’t coming up for me but I refreshed the web site and got in. I was able to quickly access my prepared saved preorder and the process went smoothly. I got a confirmation right away by email too.

The past few years pick up at a store was never available to me when ordering which I prefer and I had to rely on delivery. Fortunately this time I was able to choose pick up at my closest Apple Store for the 20th which I’m really happy about.

Out of interest I had the Natural, Desert and White all saved for preorder and ended up going with the White. I’ve ordered and received an ESR clear case but it has a cut out for the camera button which I’m not keen on and will probably return. I would prefer the Hybrid Ultra T which has the same camera button design as the official cases but it’s not available yet with the white magnet or another case like that.

Why do you prefer going to the store than delivery?

Yes, people’s orders are already being prepared for shipment
Yeah mine's been preparing for shipment for some time now.
Just wondered if they were still in another country or if they are already physically in the UK.

Not that it matters 🤣 Just curious .....

I remember many years ago, tracking it from China.......

I sent mine via special delivery with RM too... should have arrived Wednesday.... but it's been stuck in Heathrow since Tuesday night... so someone's got a new Apple Watch and it's not with MM.... 😞

RM special delivery is insured, no?
