I've got a Blue Light one but it doesn't work on my upgrade via EE's site - are others doing it on the phone?

It doesn’t work online , just phone up and say you want to order online but having issues and you want to keep your 20 percent code, just give them it over the phone and they will add the 20 percent

i've been on EE for 9 years, i think its for new monthly phone contracts.

No its not only for new , I’ve been with EE for over 10 years and I use the 20 percent code every year , I usually get the code form forum members , last year I just gave them an expired code over the phone and they still accepted and added my 20 percent so I don’t think they check or care

So I ordered 16 pro max off the Apple store app on my iPhone. I went through the Barclays finance option and it took ages to load. the app eventually time out and kicked me out but when I eventually went back in, it was asking me redo the application.

At the same time I got a flurry of emails from Barclays saying my finance had been approved and also gave me an apple order no. However no emails from Apple confirming this.

I called apple support waiting for 1 hour, only for the agent to say they couldn't find order no. and wait for a couple of hours before the system updates.

However Im not even sure if my order had gone through with apple... nothing on shown on the orders page. I don't want to do another application as I don't want another credit check done

Easiest upgrade for years and EE even waived the £100 fee on my anytime upgrade for me by moving my contract date by a week. iPhone 16 Pro Max Black Titanium ordered and delivery date of the 20th Sept.

did you check if you have Anytime Upgrade on the new contract?

Some people are adamant they do and others adamant it doesn't exist anymore1

No I didn’t use an NHs code , also nhs only works on flex or sim only plans now according to the site https://ee.co.uk/nhs-perks

It’s super easy to get 20 percent off from EE as an existing customer. Even if I didn’t have a working code I would still be confident to get it. You just need to know how to speak to them.
When I called I said I am having troubles adding the code online and I said I always have the 20 percent each year and they said they will add it to my account again

So update from the other threads.

I have just got off the phone with a manager from the online customer service team. They said they can see my order and the finance is all approved in their secondary system. Apparently some orders are not syncing straight away to their main system (where they can make edits) but said it should be there in the next few hours. If not they are open till 8pm tonight (08000480408)

I called them myself about an hour ago and got a similar reply. Ordered at 1PM for release day collection and it's still not moved to processing. Might need to give them another call in a bit. (I paid in full up-front).

UPDATE: It's just changed to processing, and my case is ready for collection!

The other day ai set up my pre-order with Barclays for the 2yr interest free purchase, all went well. I;m sure I saw a message saying he phone would be in my shopping cart to complete the order today. However I was at work today and couldn't see how to log into the Apple Store, so I made a fresh pre-order. Got loads of emails from Barclays asking for further ID information which I submitted, but then heard nothing.

Arriving back home I managed to log into Apple Store and it says my order is on hold, so I really don't know if my order went through?

This happens from time to time. If you have been pre approved on a previous order, it's ran a credit search on your file and came back clear. What's happened is that because you've ran another credit search, with the same name, it may have flagged on the Barclays system as suspicious. It might be worth giving them a ring or maybe even Apple to suggest the next course of action.

If you've sent your further information then it's probably gone to the credit review department to see what's happened and it should all be fine

Absolutely shambolic stuff from O2. Just got off the phone after an hour and a half of very very very slowly going through Switch Up with them, apparently I have a secured a launch day desert 16 PM but who knows what I’ll need up getting.

If you've already ordered for delivery and skipped trade in, if you're on a cash purchase and paid in full then you can visit a store and they'll asses the value of your device, credit the amount to a gift card, knock that off the amount you paid and the rest of the balance gets sent back to your payment method. You can do this up to 14 days after you have received your device but I'd suggest doing it sooner rather than later. And not sure who Apple use as their buyers as I was always under the assumption that all Apple products are disassembled and recycled in-house

Very quick and easy this time. I went through the 24 0% int with Barclays earlier in the week so that was all approved beforehand. Just waited for the Apple app to say..."Complete" hit the button and selected the store to pickup from and the time. It was all done and dusted with 5 minutes of pre orders opening.

Wasn’t smooth for me today. Neither the app or the website worked for me until about 1:10pm. Kept refreshing and reloading app like a lemon for 10 minutes and nothing. Finally worked on the website (app still didn’t work), logged in and for some reason it hadn’t saved my pre-loaded order so had to go through everything again. Annoying. Finally got my order though. Black titanium 16 pro max.

Delivery between September 20-25th. Just have to wonder if I would have had it delivered on the 20th if the app worked!!

Happy pre-order day - I've had a look through the pages in this thread and it looks like a lot of people got delivery dates of the 20th. Hopefully those of you who didn't do get bumped up to launch day next Friday. I was moaning about it before, but perhaps there is an advantage to having posts 'mysteriously disappear' - it makes for a quicker read on busy days like this.

If you cancel your EE premium insurance within the first month (and switch to Applecare direct from Apple), you get to keep the free clear case and screen protector they give you.

its usually from ESR or Spigen anyway but they rebrand it to their in house one.

I ordered a phone and a case for collection on the 21st as I’m not in on the Friday.

Just had an email to say the case is in store and must be collected by the 20th.

I’m sure they will hold it but I’m surprised they aren’t holding everything until it’s all ready.
