I upgrade every year then hand down to wife/kids.

I gave up with EE or any network for iPhone order (despite having corporate discount for either EE or Vodafone) as I had a in horrendous pre order experience with EE last year. So just got direct from Apple from now on.

Was easy, setup purchase for iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB day before. Launched the store app at 13:00, two presses and done. Even got my order confirmation email at 13:01.03. So much less stress.

Some people are adamant they do and others adamant it doesn't exist anymore1

I did on my old contract and also have it on the contract for the iphone 16 Pro Max, it depends what tariff you are on and if you are on the new or old type of contract.

Not sure if I have pre-ordered or not!

The other day ai set up my pre-order with Barclays for the 2yr interest free purchase, all went well. I;m sure I saw a message saying he phone would be in my shopping cart to complete the order today. However I was at work today and couldn't see how to log into the Apple Store, so I made a fresh pre-order. Got loads of emails from Barclays asking for further ID information which I submitted, but then heard nothing.

Arriving back home I managed to log into Apple Store and it says my order is on hold, so I really don't know if my order went through?

I'm still in the same boat as you, spoke to Barclays and they said it's all approved their side and that they'd had tonnes of calls today about this. The lady even finished my sentence when I said my 'Order is on hold' 😆I then spoke to Apple and they have said it will be updated at some point but can't say when.... Not ideal to be honest but a couple of others in this thread have been in the same position and now their orders are processing, so there is hope for us yet!

It’s still not up now

Managed to finally accept my contract and finish the Switch Up about an hour ago, said I'll be getting delivery on the 20th so can't complain but what a joke that was. Website was up 10 minutes early for the 14 PM and I breezed through!

Looking at the images on Amazon I think that second cheaper one has a cut out for the camera control if I’m not mistaken. I think the Ultra Hybrid T is the only Spigen one that has the same design as the official Apple clear case. 🤔

Opted for the 8am pickup rather than delivery. The last time I opted for delivery I was the last delivery of the day!

Hi all, so I have not preordered today, as I am away on the day the phones arrive, and I've also got quite a few things going on over the next few weeks, so I am thinking of letting all the craziness die down and then getting a 16 pro max on O2 switchup. Did anyone here order with O2 switchup? how was the process?

Pre ordered the 16 PM 1TB in black with Three on. 24 month deal. Arriving 20th of September. Phone cost works out at the same price. Sim only portion of the contract is £18 a month which is cheaper than any of the unlimited ones on their site, and the same as I pay now anyway. So basically an extra £60 something a month for the phone. Will skip the iPhone 17 and 18, will be 19 or 20 for me next. I start a new job on the 02/10 on 5k more a year, so a little treat for myself.

Was just at ordering stage when got distracted by an email that got invited to get Oasis pre-sale tickets, by the time I looked back the one I wanted had gone, from release date delivery. Swings and roundabouts. Will try with Amazon when they have stock back. Can still go through EE but have no idea how they are with honouring release date delivery. Want the Desert Titanium 256. Really want to pay outright in five payments from Amazon as have a cheap contract with Three.

Same. Although weirdly, I was able to pay for (and pick up) an iPhone 16 silicone case in the same order earlier today. Not sure what Apple expects me to do with the case for a week, but they were super-quick to message me "Ready to collect NOW!"
