Ok, that's good to know. I'm getting to the store for around 8:30 so we'll see how things pan out tomorrow morning.

I have visions of there being a mile long queue and I'll take one look and think - sod this for a big breakfast!!!!!
:D:p

If you have a reservation you'll be fine especially st that time. My morning slots have usually been fast. The time i had an afternoon slot things were running late and I had to wait a while. Waited in an unorderly unqueue like queue but that s apple for you!
Great I have UKMail delivering mine  probably the worst of the bunch. DPD FTW.

Ditto! Still unsure if we'll get a time slot tomorrow or if I'll be on tenterhooks at work all day.

I had a UKMail delivery last week. It's owned by DHL I think. I got a text in the morning giving me an hour delivery window and I could follow the driver online, knowing I was delivery 60, seeing him get closer. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Am not concerned as had a couple non iPhone Apple deliveries from UKMail and yes am sure honey are DHL owned. Glad to hear I'll be able to track driver tomorrow. I do like a bit of courier stalking  Remember for the 6s launch there was some serious stalking. We knew their names just to make it extra creeepy!

I feel really bad saying this but...I have a iPhone 8 coming tomorrow that I tried to cancel (the very next day, last Saturday) but they said it was too late?! Anyway, now I’m going to get the x and send the 8 back but I can’t resist giving it a go to see if I like it. Apple’s 14 day return allows this. So, my question is. I’ve read before that people who have returned iPhones before have kept the ear phones as Apple can not resell them. Is this right? I’ve read this a few times. Any ideas?

My 7 plus 128gb has dropped from £435 to £416 with Music Magpie, wonder if it drops more tomorrow? Waiting for the X so can’t lock in etc.

Has anyone sent their jet black iPhone 7\7Plus off to Mazuma, Envirofone etc and had any issues in terms of micro-abrasions affecting the final price? I was using a case for the first month then decided to just go for it!

Surely it’s better selling privately as they will be worth more? I have always averaged 55% resale value selling privately.

MM are offering £290 for my 6s Plus but I will get at least £350 ish selling privately.

Shop around. Try Envirofone with code EXTRA5 for and extra 5. Also bear in mind that these can go up sometimes too - supply, demand and competition all affect the prices offered.

It’s true. My 6S was locked in for £270 about 10 days ago, then the night before the keynote it had gone up to £276 (I know it’s only £6).

I applied again and have been checking daily, but nothing has beat the second locked in offer.

I have still seen it go up and down daily though.

I’ve always used O2 Recycle and had no issues, even with a muffled speaker once, and they price match to Envirofone etc. I’m getting £280.50 for my 64gb 6s.

You can sort of 'lock' it in - put it in your basket and then save the basket - it gives you 14 days. After about 10 days put it back in your basket from the saved list and save it again. It will give you another 14 days before it expires. I have done this in the past and it has worked. I am hoping it works this time as I have a saved basket of £450

First one to post a picture of their shiny new phone wins the title ‘iPhone 8/8+ pre-order champion 2017’

Live blog/pictures from apple stores welcome but looking at the Aussie turnout it might be a quiet one

Just woken up and tracked my phone and it appears to still be in England and hasn’t moved out from ryton!! This had better be a glitch and the tracking updates this morning or I’ll be gutted!!

Happy launch day everyone. Heading to Apple Trinity Leeds for an 8 am pickup. Expecting a quiet one given reports out of Australia. Will be picking up an Apple TV 4k too as they’re now showing as available for in store pickup.
