I'm now worried I'm going to get spammed by texts at 8:01 on my phone from vodafone, carphone etc just in the middle of my ordering and I'll accidentally click on the notification

Problem I have is pre-orders go live during the longish walk I have between station and work place whilst navigating busy streets.

Just ordered through O2 256GB Silver. Delivery 3rd Nov

Their website says "Pre-order - by 8pm on 2 Nov to get your device from 3 Nov", how much stock do they have to make such a claim??? Either they're overpromising and will under deliver, or they really have lots of stock.

But wait, they say "from 3 Nov..." so I guess it means it can be anytime on or after Nov 3, so maybe they don't actually have a lot of stock...

It's the word "from" that would worry me in that. Sounds good, but gives them wiggle room.

everybody go and preorder from O2 - I can only use EE or VF here with the network coverage :)

and i just opened a huge online clock in a separate window so I don't forget what time it is :p
