Got straight in via the reservation system direct link. Funnily enough the first time it took me to the store app which then obviously didnt work, but tried again and phone reserved :D
 
Managed to snap one up for pickup from my local Apple Store at 8:00am next Friday. This feels good man, today's going to be a good day! Now I feel even more impatient about the wait haha. :D

Surprisingly the reservation link worked before the Apple Store app on my phone was even open. Also, as I done it on the MacBook, I had to log in with two-factor authentication and somehow still was early enough to choose every possible pickup time for next Friday.

I've added my reservation to my Apple wallet so it's going nowhere. :p

Bloody app failed me though! Still not refreshing even now!

Had to use the browser and login from scratch, but got the silver 64Gb at 8.07.

Feel like I want to vomit now lol.....

Was refreshing the phone app and website continuously from 7:57-08:08. FINALLY got through on the phone app at 8:08, quickly did the order and it's saying on my processing email 2-3 weeks delivery. Never saw the 3rd.
 
Seems like Safari on the Mac was the way to go this time.

The store app on phone phone still not working despite multiple quit / reopens.

Also got a reservation in the Apple Regent Street at 9/9:30 to pick up another one with iUP
 
app *still* down. legged it to the website but didn't know the postcode of my nearest store in london (not where I am). By the time I did, there wasn't any pick up for silver. I accidentally put two silvers in my bag for delivery and tried to remove one, which removed both. When I went back, they're all 2-3 weeks delivery :(

so now I'm going to be scrabbling around and/or hoping CPW actually have stock. Stupid bloody apple app
 
Jeez i have only just managed to get in to the site and 2 to 3 weeks delivery.....why the hell did it take so long to get in to the store. I was refreshing every 2 seconds
 
glad I went with EE and not apple

couldn't even get on apple site and when I did it said they are no longer taking orders on the IUP
 
256 Space Grey. Website was up before the app for me. Collecting from Stratford Friday morning. It'll be the first time going to the store on launch day since the 4s.
 
64gb in silver delivered for the 3rd. Had to use the website as app clearly overloaded. Wanted in store pick up but slipped. Took until 8:06 which I think is very late
 
I’m not even ordering but thought I’d see how it would have gone had I done so..

8:12am and the website and app are both still showing as “come back later”. That’s despite refreshing manually.

I’d be proper pi**ed if I was in the market for one today. Happy with my 8 Plus though..
 
Wow, the Apple Store app is still not up for me on phone and iPad, went through browser quick as a flash, still lost the launch day, I go 2-3 weeks.:(

Why isn’t the app up?
 
3rd Nov delivery, Space Grey 64GB. Timed it at 8:04:49 - didn’t go live until 8:04 somethingn did it ?
