I popped a 64GB Space Grey in my cart for 3 Nov delivery, then had second thoughts and removed it. I really couldn't cope with the hell that is iOS and the rather poor camera. Feeling liberated!

Took ages to come up on the app (and website, although I maybe blame work's web caching for that) for me too. Ordered at about 8.04, 2-3 week delivery. It's still showing that on the app now though, so I reckon there weren't many at all made for launch day and production must be currently in the middle of a massive ramp up. Not the end of the world though, it's not like I don't have a phone in the meantime!

wow that was fun, only got into the app round 8:06. First Apple Pay attempt failed with a delivery on the 3rd, then I saw dispatched in 3-4 weeks, quickly force quit the app, went back through the order and managed to get one to pick up in store on the 3rd, pheeewwww

Looks like they lotteried the initial batch and only let a very small number of people in at 8:01. I and a few friends were refreshing like mad to get in with the website on computers and iPhones and a friend of mine got in straight away and placed his order while the site said it was still updating for the rest of us. Then at like 6 minutes past or something, the rest of us all managed to get in with 2-3 weeks availability on all models.

Got on the App at 8.03. IUP upgrade required, Breezed through, 256 silver reserved for pickup at Apple Store Cribbs Causeway for 8.30 on the 3rd.
