Fair play mate, local Apple store is closed for major refurbishments so I didn't consider it... Shame! Would have liked to reserve to pickup had I known my 3/11 date would vanish at checkout...

Same here mate, could have collected from Stratford on my way to work. 03/11 when I clicked confirm order or whatever it said only when I got the email at 08:06 did I see it had changed to 2-3 weeks.

My status has not changed yet and is still showing as delivery for Friday but not yet shipped or anything.

When going in to the store to collect, not taking into account queues, how long does this normally take from when Im seen to get my phone and get out the door. I have a meeting at 9:30am Friday and work a 30 minute commute away so as long as Im out the door by 8:30 Im good :) BTW, the EE store I ordered from had NO queue last friday whilst the other EE store a mile away had a huge queue lol so Im hoping no queue and bam, Im gone.

Anyone else ordered through Three?

I had a Live Chat with them on Sunday (when they finally changed their expected delivery dates on their website) and was told I was all set for delivery on Friday.

I use the myDPD app so I'm hoping to get that notification come through tomorrow evening.

I had an SMS from them yesterday a generic thanks for upgrading with Three and my new device and SIM would be with me soon etc. I'm actually feeling quite confident about a Friday delivery. A lot of stories in the press etc. about Three's crazy ~£110+ monthly deal has probably put a lot of people off Three.

But in actual fact, Three's deal seems to be decent enough. I had a sales call from EE yesterday (my Apple Watch S3 is from EE) and they were offering me an additional line with 10% off.

I feel like a lot of the networks are justifying their high price deals with ridiculous amounts of data. I have 30GB with Three - I have WiFi at work and at home and I use a lot of data whilst travelling around for work and even then I use at most ~12GB and I consider myself a heavy data user.

Hi mate, I have and didn't have the best of conversations via live chat just now! On my original order email it says the expected delivery is the 3rd but someone from Three just told me that all deliveries will start from the 10th, is this true? He said:

Yes, Three as a business needs to deliver all the phones as per the pre-orders so we need to arrange it first and then the delivery will start from 10th November.

In stores will show "Ready for Pickup" on Thursday night / Friday.

I have ordered with three at about 750am last Friday. On my confirmation email and on my account it shows delivery on 30th October. I had a live chat with them on monday and was told my order will be delivered by 10 November. Not heard anything since but do have dpd app so hopefully I will get a notification tomorrow evening.

I'm still quietly confident. I think like most networks/CPW etc. information isn't cascaded down and operators just make up information.

From what I can remember last year with the 7+, I was told categorically I would most likely not receive my phone on launch date. To compensate, I was given bill credits/refunds - so it was obvious the operators fully believed I would not be receiving the phone on launch date, but then it turned up on launch date anyway.

I've only checked in with Three once via Live Chat and was told all good for Friday. Just looking at Twitter and other than specific incidents (advisors making errors), no complaints about change of delivery dates.

I pre-ordered via telephone so don't have a confirmation e-mail and can't track through the website. But, iirc, I was also told at the time of ordering that it would be delivered between November 3rd - 10th, but when I Live Chatted with someone on Sunday, I was told all was good for Friday.

Saddle brown case arrived today, looks lovely! Just need the phone now....

I wish Apple would take my money for my store pickup so I know it's gone through ok!

Yeah I think you're right, to be honest I just received this email from a message I sent earlier in the day:

"Thank you for your email.

You will have a text message on the day of delivery with your hourly time slot and tracking number and this is when you will be able to track this parcel. We are not able to track this until it has been dispatched from us tomorrow night."

So guess it's a case of different people saying different things.
