Spare a thought for the courier drivers tomorrow... iPhone release day can't be great for them with 100+ drops.

My DPD guy loves it! Told me he’s paid per delivery and everyone is stood by the door waiting so it’s a lot quicker! It can be more than twice the normal deliveries in a day apparently!

Folks, what's the best way of setting up the new phone if all I wanted restored from iCloud are my old pictures, contacts and notes? Prefer to set up as a new phone.

My EE app this morning said Dispatch expected in the next 24 hrs so it had moved along but now everything is all grey ed out except for the "expected delivery date to EE Store" is still tomorrow.

On your current phone go to iCloud make sure pictures, contacts, notes and whate ever else you want saved are checked, then when setting up the phone set it up as a new iphone, when you login to iCloud these settings will download - this is what I usually do for a new phone.

Shame iMessage icloud backup isnt ready yet
