Great stuff thanks

So customer services section is who I need to contact.

Hopefully getting the pac code shouldn’t take long

Yeah, hopefully it will let you avoid the team who try to encourage you to stay - lol!
[doublepost=1509636295][/doublepost]Just realised that my billing info on my Apple ID expired last month :( I hope this doesn't affect my order

Has anyone with a shipping date of 13-20 Nov seen payment charges made yet?

No, but checking on the hour - I will add you to my list of people to @ if I see it

Yes for monthly plans, not sure about pay as you go.

For mine, I ordered a new sim from O2 and then called three to cancel and get a PAC code. They advised me I would receive a final bill once the number had been transferred.

mine is sim only so might be ok.

How do you plug these in, do they come with a plug or do you have to buy separately?
I bought a white one and it came with a plug.

Don't forget to get the Fixa kit to drill the right size hole wherever you are mounting the charger.

When you get the pac code it does nothing to your account, its only when the pac code is moved onto another supplier it cancels your 3 account, so you can get it anytime you want! you have up to 30 days to use it from the time they give it to you, which they have to do immediately on the phone by regulation now!

do carriers give you an email or anything as confirmation of cancelled contract? or is it just a letter?

Why would you cancel it? How about contacting Argos first? It said January because they had no official time date to put on the website so they had no choice to put January on it.
Oh dear massive fail. Argos always put a fake date on and always deliver on launch day. Same thing happened with my Apple Watch

...can somebody clarify this conundrum for me (I'm probably being stupid!! )?!

When I went on my Apple Store App to the IUP, to see if it would be possible to exchange my iPhone 8 Plus to an iPhone X (I am NOT looking to change my iPhone 8 Plus - just wanted to see if it was actually possible!!), it stated that in order to do this, I would have to pay the remaining balance of my current IUP, which is around £453), and then hand back the phone (when at the store), which would then enable to me to reserve an X, for collection (again - I am not looking to change).

Unless I am missing something or have completely misunderstood this, why would I have to pay off the balance AND hand back the phone?? Surely, paying off the balance means the phone is mine to keep, no? Why does it say to pay the balance AND also hand back the phone?!

You got an 8 Plus. They’re what, $800? Plus AppleCare. Why would paying $450 allow you to keep the phone? If you wanted to keep the phone and get an X, you’d have to pay off the full amount you signed the loan for, about $900.

Got in touch with my local Apple store about the screen protectors. Confirmed that the in store stock is different to the SKUs sold online. They’ve offered to exchange the one I ordered online in store, subject to stock being available for the machine
With previous models I believe the ones applied with the machines in store have slightly different dimensions and run closer to the home button. It will be interesting to see where the dimensions differ with the X as it doesn't have a home button.

I had the Belkin, it was faulty, exchanged for the Mophie. It's alright but wireless charging is a bit underwhelming. Your iPhone vibrating means it slides off the pad. Why Apple didn't disable vibrations when charging wirelessly is beyond me. Looking forward to the AirPower mat.

Make that a feature request! (they have that iOS update to support 7.5w charging coming up) - be a good time to include it!! :)
